I know about sudo, but I still wonder about the need for root rights
at all.
Access to the database credentials can be managed through filesystem
permissions.
So the next (and hopefully last) thing where we need root rights
seems to be the creation of domain directories, or even user

Dear Maintainer,
Hello! As part of backporting python-sphinx, I needed to backport python-
alabaster back to jessie. I've pushed you a PR with the necessary change --
just a d/changelog bump is sufficient.
Thank you for your help!

Hi there!
I've attached a patch (a simple dch --bpo) to backport python-sphinx to
jessie. Please note, it will not work until python-alabaster is
backported. I've submitted a PR and bug against that package, and the
bug blocks this one.
Thanks!

Dear Maintainer,
krb5-auth-dialog is currently built against Heimdal. Heimdal hasn't seen
a release upstream in almost 4 years, and we're considering orphaning
it.
Please consider building against MIT kerberos instead. Attached patch

Hi Mel, Eric, and Jarod,
I'm looking into uploading libhugetlbfs to Debian, and I wanted to
double-check a few files with ambiguous copyright or license notices.
I assume they're all intended to be LGPLv2.1+ like the rest of the
package but they're not labeled as such.
