As of the kernel update this afternoon in SID, this behaviour has been
fixed.
AFAIC This bug can be closed.

supercollider FTBFS on every arch except for amd64, i386, armhf and

The build fails during the compile of oscpack_build.cpp with one of

No, I think you are right: If SOURCE_DATE_EPOCH is not set, then this
is not going to work. I have tested the patch, but apparently only in

It has been 21 months now, and the portable branch upstream seem to be
again actively maintained. Is it time to revisit this bug?
Regarding packaging in Debian, I use openntpd on most of my systems,
and would be very glad to help maintain the package.
