What we had talked about is parsing the output of $CC. For example
asking gcc what tripple it was built for and going from there.

I reinstalled NVidia driver several times and the problem is still the
same. Trying your method still results in the same issue.
Now if I fully blacklist the nvidia driver I get a "better" black screen w/
Nouveau, in the sense that keyboard answers. Thus Xorg.0.log does not hang
on the GLX st

After more digging, it appears that the permissions on
/var/lib/roundcube/temp on my server did not allow writing for the PHP
user.
So the file was created in /tmp instead.
You can close the bug, or add an exception for this kind of situations
(that would be nice).

This is not really a decision by me, I suppose you have
to follow some Debian guidelines.
I can only add that, if no distribution is interested in
the AR releases, the Tuxera versions will be less tested
before they are releas
