I gave gcstar a try, it suffers being unable to get infos from websites
for films (and probably other things).
To sum up, this makes the tool kinda useless for me.
1.7.0 was released in September 2012 and could improve the situation.

I'm able to normally read them from VLC.
I don't think this is relevant but my attempt concerns a music DVD, with

This is happening to me too, and I find that fantastic !
When validating the new username, it's the whole Gnome Panel which
crashes, and some blank frozen window which pops up.
Have to restart GDM3 from console outside X.
