I can confirm this. The only difference is that i am using Gnome.

Hello,
as pointed out in the links of the bug opener, this is a _security_

It seems the fix
Hi,
can we still expect an update for stable that fixes this?
Or do we have to wait for a backport of the version in stretch (if that
is in any way feasible)?
Kind regards,

Victor, thank you!
Will you also upload 0.9.11 to jessie-backports, once it hits testing?

Dear Maintainer,
please consider updating prosody-modules to the latest upstream changeset as
there have been some fixes and additions in the modules that you provide in
your package, e.g.

Prosody 0.10 comes already shipped with mod_carbons. This didn't lead yet to

I can confirm that the patch works! mod_auth_ldap gets loaded and users
can authenticate, but only if the option ldap_server consists of a
single hostname or IP. A space separated list of hostnames/IPs doesn't
work anymore.
Using a space separated list of e.g. three hostnames leads to
I'd really love to have this package in buster.
But this means that it must be in testing before 2019-02-12. So not
much time left. The package doesn't have to be in perfect shape by then
but afterwards the soft freeze will be active!
