Bug#388448: diff.gz for 3.1
Hello, I found this program really useful, and 3.1 fixes some important problems, so I wanted to have it updated in Ubuntu. That's why I did an updated diff.gz: http://launchpadlibrarian.net/22617563/proxychains_3.1-0ubuntu2.diff.gz This diff was made for Ubuntu, but I thought it would be really a good idea to have it updated directly in debian, so more people will benefit from the updated package. The ubuntu bug for this is https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/proxychains/+bug/250973 Hope to hear from you soon.

Bug#664527: pidgin: libpurple0 depends on libgstfarsight0.10-0, which conflicts with empathy
Package: libpurple0 Version: 2.10.2-2 Severity: important Tags: upstream patch farsight2 is being deprecated and replaced with farstream. This change has been already made in empathy, and it's preventing people from having both installed simultaneously. There is code on pidgin's bugtracker to make the switch, see http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/14936 I have patched the pidgin deb with that patch and updated it accordingly, and it builds, installs and runs fine (I haven't tested the actual video call functionality though). Bug#650041: gnome-desktop3-data
It seems gnome-shell 3.2.1-5 depends on libgnome-desktop-3-0. Bug#931272: openssh-server: incoming connections fail if openssl's afalg engine is enabled
Package: openssh-server Version: 1:8.0p1-2 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, After enabling afalg engine on OpenSSL and configuring OpenSSH server to use the following ciphers, incoming ssh connections stop working. When a client tries to connect, you can observe the following message on the server's dmesg output: [271686.264598] audit: type=1326 audit(1561879548.303:14): auid=1000 uid=104 gid=65534 ses=99 subj==unconfined pid=8164 comm="sshd" exe="/usr/sbin/sshd" sig=31 arch=4028 syscall=281 compat=0 ip=0xb6a5ee6c code=0x0 The device is a Buffalo Linkstation LS-WXL (armel, kirkwood). I would like to use the crypto hardware accelerator (marvell_cesa) on SSH to get better performance out of it, that's why I enabled the afalg engine. This happens both with openssh-server from buster and experimental. Syscall 281 appears to be socket(...) from what I could gather.
