I just like to know it you are currently working on it or if you need help
to package the latest release (1.10.0)?

Some news about this bug, it seems that this feature request has been
implemented upstream:

Backporting my patch for sympa in wheezy should be straight forward.
On side note, I wonder if this bug really needs to be fixed in wheezy by
a pu upload.

Package: apache2
Version: 2.4.6-2
Severity: normal
Dear maintainers,
While trying to fix #669803 (Sympa package) I noticed that it's not possible
to use "apache2_invoke disconf" from the postinst script.
Sympa is shipped with a web interface and a SOAP web service. In order to
switch to apache 2

I fully agree.
I've prepared a pu upload (I hope It will be ok for the next point
release) which fixes this issue and another one (#720383).
About #720383, the fix is a one line patch.
Attached is the debdiff.

I'm still looking for a better default value which could avoid any

As postgres is very permissive on database names, it is difficult to
find something safe but I'm open to any suggestion.

This bug seems quite old, and I wonder if it's still valid? It doesn't
seems to be reproducible with the latest versions of sympa.
Do you experience it with sympa >= 6.x?
I think that we can safely close it but I will be glad to get your
opinion.

If I remember well, sudo wrapper was dropped from upstream sources about
2 years ago :)

I'm lowering the severity to important as the package is buggy with
Postgres but works fine with other DB engines.

be automated ? I don't know a lot about packaging ...
Actually, the sympa user creation is done too late in the postinst
script regarding the changes introduced in the last upload.
It will be fixed with the next upload which sill occur very soon.
