Bug#781172: Some More Info
Hello, i can reproduce this reliably, in a kvm vm. This is only broken if you remove the disks while powered down. Hot-Remove, reboot, Hot-Add (and Probably Cold-Add) works as it should. Hi Ralf, On Sat, Nov 10, 2007 at 11:54:12PM +0100, Ralf Stubner wrote: Do you remember why you had local configuration files? It is possible to use such local configuration files, but one has to recreate the map files everytime the fonts installed in the system change. Therefore it is better to make any modifications sytem wide by installing fonts and other additions in /usr/local/share/texmf and making additions in /etc/texmf. Yes, i ran some command that created local config files for no particular purpose except couriosity. That was definitely before installing lmodern. Bug#267958: acknowledged by developer (Re: epiphany-browser: Crashes when opening download manager)
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 | Hi, | | This is a followup for Debian bug http://bugs.debian.org/267958 where | you claim that Epiphany crashes when opening the download manager. | | This bug seemed to be specific to your architecture, amd64, and | you said this was probably related to the compiler being used to | build mozilla and/or epiphany. Hence, I understand this bug is fixed | for and/or you took the necessary actions to report the problem to the | gcc team. I'm closing this bug, please reopen it if necessary. | It is not fixed before debian officially switches to gcc 3.4 or higher. Currently it is 3.3.5. However I do not care for this bug to be fixed since it is appearantly specific to compilers prior to 3.4 and there are currently to many bugs in debian-amd64 for me to use it consistently. So ~ I will stick to i386 at least till debian switches to 3.4, which would solve that bug in time for me. So, I'm fine with this bug being closed, since fixing it might just take time off more important stuff ). florian attenberger -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- Version: GnuPG v1.2.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFB+UIs22W55cEBn3MRAhKUAKCwJoTLMjDatPgGty1v3u2ziq7B7wCfSkzy 8siKmZQnjQprsmixhJVDyiU= =WpKx -END PGP SIGNATURE- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe.
