bsddb version changed to 4.5 so db not compatible anymore
perhaps I was not able to upgrade to db4.5_upgrade
since this would mean relying on db utils

The only way to solve this problem is that nvidia fixes the build
workarounding the direct call
or bridging as other functions, but this is very unlikely since they
dropped support for that
I think if many users ask nvidia they can make this small change.
