Well, that's because it isn't a bug and i'm an idiot :) I had a rogue
process running it kept deluge's interface from creating a new instance.

Please ignore the bug report and accept my apologies.

Thanks and keep up the great work!

I can reproduce it, it is quite funny: you can maximize and de-maximize
a lot of times without trouble, but the problem arises when you later
 switch tab in gnome-terminal.

Which is why I'm very tempted to say this is a bug in gnome-terminal; it
must remember different sizes for the different tabs somehow.

No. Emacs also has the same behavior. As someone said, the bug probably
only affects windows that measure their size in characters.

Best regards.

Bug#320932: Crash on APM sleep resume

2005-08-02 Thread Gonçalo Marrafa
Package: hal
Version: 0.4.8-3

My Dell C840, if hald is running, crashes on APM sleep resume. Without hal
everything works fine and it resumes ok.

I've tried with several combinations of package/kernel options and the
conclusion i've reached is that hal is causing the problem.

It's possible the problem is somewhere else. If so i truly apologize.

Best regards.
