I doubt that some simple printfs should alter the program behavior in that
way. So, either there is some undefined behavior in there or the code
produced by g++-4.4 is wrong.

To me it looks like a bug in g++ 4.4, too. (g++-4.4 (Debian 4.4.2-9) 4.4.3

Please include a newer version of liborigin2, as this version only can import

I tried a lot to get a proper font rendering. It is quite acceptable now after
a long road of configuration. But still, with »full« and »medium« hinting,
there are some hinting/subpixel rendering errors (not in

Look not everyone is a geek. At least you could have told Martin how he could
have done this (via the proper boot-cd and chroot). But then, why not just
telling him how to fix it in the first place ?
This happens when you grub-install to a location other than
Colin,
thank you - i believe you found the reason.
* grub-pc/install_devices: /dev/disk/by-id/ata-ST3320620AS_5QF1HAVQ
The likely cause is that you selected a disk here which isn't the one
that your BIOS is actually booting from. Since you have three disks,
this is quite plausible.
