Hey,
I have to admit that I agree with Mike that it really does not make
sense to override those tags (especially not now that we have Team Uploads).
That being said... With the FTP master auto-rejects we actually do have
non-overrideable tags now

Hi
Lintian already appears to ignore symlinks for this check. I think
Lintian correctly emits these tags for tipa/2:1.3-14. Looking at the
contents they appear to be real files and not symlinks.

I second the idea of phasing out source packages the old tar-in-tar,

Hi Piotr
Little over a month ago, I asked if you were willing to put henplus

Hi
Currently lintian.d.o allows me to see either all the packages maintained
by my team or all packages affected by a given tag. Would it be possible
to get all packages maintained by $X and with tag $Y as well?

When one has both stable and unstable sources, eclipse from unstable

Package: lucene2
Severity: important
Hi
A recent upload of lucene2 fixed #555225; but did not mention that
this fixed CVE-2007-2383. This causes the security tracker to

Therefore please mention that CVE-2007-2383 has been fixed in the

Hi Jan-Pascal
I believe this is what Torsten Werner did with jetty a few uploads
back[1] and then passed -v to dpkg-genchanges/dpkg-buildpackage; but I
am actually not sure if this is all there is too it.

I am not sure how to handle the OSGi for lucene2. The obvious answer
would be to append it to the manifest files after they have been
generated; however I have checked lucene from Fedora and they discard
the generated Manifests in favor of their own handmade ones. This is

Hi
I know some people have experienced this e.g. by having translation
packages for eclipse installed (there is a bug about this on the Ubuntu
side requesting that the default limit is increased).
You can work around this by changing the limit of open files. (e.g.
