been performed *with* the proposed patch (and hence an NMU is needed to
properly fix the issue) or *without* it (and hence the bug should be
closed as unreproducible).

I tend to believe so because the patch, even if it did not exploit all
the optimizations suggested by Olly, should be very deterministic as the
big transaction is always used in a systematic manner.
