Something interesting happened before that, too. I was trying to
update the 'gzip' package:
2014-01-12 19:57:56 status unpacked gzip:kfreebsd-amd64 1.6-3

sed logging, and an sshd started in the initrd, for human
or automated intervention in case the machine doesn't finish booting.
That may have pushed them in favour of a simpler init system.

Only the traditional SysV. Debi

specific disagreements between teams over how to do things or what's
reasonable, could be handled separately as they arise, and escalated to
the ctte where necessary?
It wouldn't matter to me which is ultimately chosen as the default in
that case, if I only knew I would

Maybe that's similar to how translators' work is done.

ither OpenRC nor Upstart have been ported to GNU/Hurd yet, but
I'd guess at least one of them could be ported in time for jessie.

Hi,
Just pinging this bug now that openscenegraph/3.2.0~rc1-2 has been uploaded.
libcitygml still depends on libopenscenegraph80, so it will be unable to
migrate to testing unless built against newer libs (which will require
patching #719396 also).
Thanks,

If that becomes available in wheezy-backports, I expect the builds would
start automatically.

The problem occurred only on kFreeBSD and Hurd but I could

this one is in the same place as the original Bug#649038, but it is
segfaulting now whereas it failed 'cleanly' with error message before.

Hi,
zeroc-ice FTBFS on kfreebsd-amd64 because of forcing LP64=no; this
