Using FAI 4.0.8 (which has setup-storage 1.4) and a wheezy nfroot this
works for me, even the variable ROOT_PARTITION is set to:
ROOT_PARTITION=${ROOT_PARTITION:-/dev/xpv/root}
I'm using liblinux-lvm-perl 0.17-1 inside the nfsroot.
This is my fstab entry for the root partition:
/dev/xpv/root
The new version liblinux-lvm-perl 0.16-2 is now available. This may
fix your setup-storage problem. Could you please try the new
liblinux-lvm-perl version and report if this fixes your problem.

This is because fai-setup exports the config space defined in
FAI_CONFIGDIR, not the path from FAI_CONFIG_SRC.
FAI_CONFIGDIR is the local path to the config space. It is used by
several fai tools.
FAI_CONFIG_SRC is not used for deciding if the config space is located
locally on the install server

This is a 96GB RAM dual CPU hexacore machine, so I have 12 cores in all.
Now I like to compute the md5sum of all files *.out in parallel
I'm not sure about the severity of this bug. It affects all
distributions which uses yum. These are all versions of CentOS and
SLC, but I bet all others are also affected.
The bug makes it impossible to create an RPM installation and therefore
is at least important. But it makes rinse unsusable fo

Fedora and opensuse distributions does not seem to be affected by this
bug. But it's still important, since it's totally broken when creating
CentOS and SLC environments which is the case when the package FAI is
using rinse.

Did you try to add rd.lvm=o the the kernel command line? This disables
the lvm code in dracut during the boot process.

FYI:
I had the same problem with wheezy. After changing the wicd template
and adding the line
ctrl_interface=/var/run/wpa_supplicant
I had no more problems. Maybe this fixes also your problem.

It seems that tcsh 6.17 has fixed this issue.
The function NLSStringWidth is now paying attention to the return
value of wcwidth:
if ((l = wcwidth(c)) < 0)
Please test, if your issue is solved in version 6.17 of tcsh.
