  Description : redis-client is a simple, low-level, client for Redis 6+.

 Contrary to the redis gem, redis-client doesn't try to map all Redis commands
 to Ruby constructs, it merely is a thin wrapper on top of the RESP3 protocol.

Bug#725312: Ohai does not detect python3

2024-01-15 Thread Vivek K J
Hello,

It appears that this is not a bug. Ohai is identifying the presence of
Python by executing the command[1]:

python -c "import sys; print(sys.version)"

However, this method does not detect python3. To address this issue, a
workaround would be to install the python-is-python3 package.

services

It protects your application from failures of its service dependencies.
It wraps calls to external services and monitors for failures in one minute
intervals. Using a circuit's defaults once more than 5 requests have been
made with a 50% failure rate, Circuitbox stops sending requests to that
failing service for 90 seconds. This helps your application gracefully degrade.

Unstable has version 6.1.20-1 aka 6.1.0-7-amd64, can you try whether the
problem is still present in that version?

No.  Unstable version is able to mount that drive without any errors

If it does, then sharing the output when you *manually* mount the drive
successfully on 6.1.0-5-amd64 and when you do the exact same thing on 6.1.0-6-
amd64 with the failure, so it shows some error message(s).

It doesn't even recognizes a NTFS Partition (no output on using sudo
fdisk -l | grep NTFS

)

  Description : Simple REST client for Google API Discovery Service V1

 This is the simple REST client for API Discovery Service V1. Simple REST
 clients are Ruby client libraries that provide access to Google services via
 their HTTP REST API endpoints. These libraries are generated and updated
 automatically based on the discovery documents published by the service, and
 they handle most concerns such as authentication, pagination, retry, timeouts,
 and logging. You can use this client to access the API Discovery Service, but
 note that some services may provide a separate modern client that is easier to
 use.

 This package will be maintained by Ruby Team.

[ Reason ]

Stable version of ruby-aws-sdk-core doesn't have version file. (See #1028285)
The solution was to drop fix-versions.patch which is not necessary with
gem-install

[ Impact ]

This means that any integration trying to check the version of the core gem
using a
debian installation cannot actually determine the version, or worse, will get
whatever
version is in the ENV['VERSION'] which is likely completely unrelated to AWS.

* Package name: node-gulp-tsb
  Version : 4.0.5
  Upstream Author : Johannes Rieken
* URL : https://github.com/jrieken/gulp-tsb
* License : Expat
  Programming Lang: Javascript
  Description : A gulp plugin for very fast TypeScript compilation.

 This plugin works by
 *keeping a compiler alive to improve speed (at the cost of memory)
 *always recompiling the smallest set of files possible.

 Hi there,
gulp-tsb is a essential build-dependency needed for packing
HedgeDoc to Debian[1]. So please consider accepting this package to debian.

* Package name: ruby-terser

  Description : Ruby wrapper for Terser JavaScript compressor

Terser minifies JavaScript files by wrapping TerserJS to be
accessible in Ruby

Hi Debian Maintainers,

Terser is a ruby gem that helps to minify javascript files.
since, the gem is not available in debian, I wish to pack that to
debian.
This debian package will be maintained by Debian Ruby Maintainers Team.
The upstream of this gem is developed by Pavel Rosický and licensed
under MIT license.The upstream is available at
http://github.com/ahorek/terser-ruby.
 I think this gem will be helpful for ruby-gem developers.

Thanks,
