I personally think that the -v solution as you mentioned is good enough,
cause most users don't care these recommend or suggestion messages,
even installed things, they just want a out of box application. For
people want specific information, like me, -v would be a smart thing.

When I tried to compile package libitpp [1] in chroot manually, I met a error.

Anyway, let me keep it for libc++-dev.

Yes I can rebuild gcc by sudo sbuild, but I don't know what is happening in
Pbuilder or Sbuild with normal user.
