Bug#825373: phantomjs: Please backport phantomjs to jessie-backports

2016-05-26 Thread varacanero
Package: phantomjs
Version: 2.1.1+dfsg-1
Severity: wishlist

-- no debconf information

Please backport phantomjs (2.1.1+dfsg-1 or newer) to jessie-backports.

Installing from testing is not an option because it would pull in too
many dependencies:

Bug#728791: squid-deb-proxy: After restart, proxy is unavailable until restart of avahi-daemon

 Thanks for your bugreport.

sry for the delay !

After restarting, the service is announced by avahi only on ipv6, not on
 ipv4 anymore.
 However, apt-get update still fails.

 How does your
   /etc/avahi/services/squid-deb-proxy.service
file look like? It does contain the service protocol=ipv4 line I
 assume?

# cat /etc/avahi/services/squid-deb-proxy.service
?xml version=1.0 standalone='no'?
!DOCTYPE service-group SYSTEM avahi-service.dtd
service-group
name replace-wildcards=yesSquid deb proxy on %h/name
service protocol=ipv6
type_apt_proxy._tcp/type
port8000/port
/service
service protocol=ipv4
type_apt_proxy._tcp/type
port8000/port
/service
/service-group

And if I read your log right, the _apt_proxy._tcp service appears
again after you did a manual restart of the avahi service, is that
 correct?

yes.

greetings, varac

  Michael

Bug#689016: found own local bug

2013-01-25 Thread varacanero
Hi,

we are sorry but we found out that we were responsible ourselves for
that odd behaviour. We deployed nrpe.cfg with a puppet module that
changed the pidfile location, which was different to that in the init
script.

Changing back to the default location (/var/run/nagios/nrpe.pid) solved
our issues.

so sorry for blaming debian, in our case, everything is fine here now.

greetings, varac

Comments/Problems:

On the kvm host, i installed a guest system with virt-install (0.500.3-2):

lvcreate -L 1.2G -n debian_squeeze_baseimage vg_toad0

virt-install --name debian-squeeze-baseimage --ram 512 --os-type linux
--os-variant debiansqueeze --virt-type kvm --disk
path=/dev/vg_toad0/debian_squeeze_baseimage
--location=http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/dists/squeeze/main/installer-amd64/
--nographics -xDEBIAN_FRONTEND=text console=ttyS0

I need a guest with just one (root) partition, no swap, because i want
to easily grow the partition after later cloning. So i chose manual
partitioning, created one partition for /, and went on.
Installation succeeded, guest did boot well in kvm, however, the
partition looks broken with sfdisk:

btw, I could reproduce that, also on in Ubuntu quantal.

After spending some hours debugging, i just tried with a dummy 1MB swap

Hi,

apt-get update still exits with an exit-code 0, even if it fails (i.e.

Is this a regression of an very old bug, #41053 ?

Bug#692295: couchdb: initscript doen't stop/restart service

2012-11-04 Thread varacanero
Package: couchdb
Version: 1.2.0-2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Dear Maintainer,

I think i encountered a regression of couchdb: Init script doesn't stop
or restart the server
(http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=681549) in current
couchdb from unstable.
The initscript doen't stop/restart couchdb:

root@debian-wheezy:~# pgrep -u couchdb
3435
3449
3451
3468
3483
root@debian-wheezy:~# /etc/init.d/couchdb stop
[ ok ] Stopping database server: couchdb.
root@debian-wheezy:~# sleep 5
root@debian-wheezy:~# pgrep -u couchdb
3435
3449
3451
3468
3483

I'm using a fresh debian-testing in a vagrant box.

I need to install couchdb from unstable, because i can't install couchdb
from testing in an automated environment due to couchdb: missing write
permission for /var/run/couchdb
(http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=681549).

Thanx for caring,

Varac
