Bug#1062765: ITP: mailctl -- IMAP/SMTP clients with the capabilities of renewal and authorization of OAuth2 credentials

2024-02-02 Thread
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: ChangZhuo Chen (陳昌倬)
X-Debbugs-Cc: debian-de...@lists.debian.org

* Package name: mailctl
  Version : 0.9.2
  Upstream Contact: Peter Dobsan
* URL : https://github.com/pdobsan/mailctl
* License : BSD-3-Clause
  Programming Lang: Haskell
  Description : IMAP/SMTP clients with the capabilities of renewal and
authorization of OAuth2 credentials

 mailctl provides IMAP/SMTP clients with the capabilities of renewal and
 authorization of OAuth2 credentials.

 The Oauth2 credentials are kept in the Gnome keyring or in GNU PG
 encrypted files.

 Many IMAP/SMTP clients, like msmtp, fdm, isync, neomutt or mutt can use
 OAuth2 access tokens but lack the ability to renew and/or authorize
 OAuth2 credentials. The purpose of mailctl is to provide these missing
 capabilities by acting as a kind of smart password manager. In
 particular, access token renewal happens automatically in the
 background transparent to the user.

The package will be maintained under the umbrella of the Debian Haskell
team.

Bug#1057177: ITP: jaq -- A jq clone focussed on correctness, speed, and simplicity

2023-11-30 Thread
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: ChangZhuo Chen (陳昌倬)
X-Debbugs-Cc: debian-de...@lists.debian.org

* Package name: jaq
  Version : v1.2.0
  Upstream Contact: Michael Färber
* URL : https://github.com/01mf02/jaq
* License : Expat
  Programming Lang: Rust
  Description : A jq clone focussed on correctness, speed, and simplicity

 jaq is a clone of the JSON data processing tool jq. jaq aims to
 support a large subset of jq's syntax and operations.
 .
 jaq focuses on three goals:
 .
 Correctness: jaq aims to provide a more correct and predictable
 implementation of jq, while preserving compatibility with jq in most
 cases.
 .
 Performance: I created jaq originally because I was bothered by jq's
 long start-up time, which amounts to about 50ms on my machine. This can
 particularly show when processing a large number of small files. jaq
 starts up about 30 times faster than jq 1.6 and outperforms jq also on
 many other benchmarks.
 .
 Simplicity: jaq aims to have a simple and small implementation, in
 order to reduce the potential for bugs and to facilitate contributions.

The package will be maintained under the umbrella of the pkg-rust.

Sorry for the mess. Our current plan is to package 1.1.0 first. I will

Bug#1023865: docker.io: docker build breaks breaks host network

2022-11-13 Thread
Control: reassign -1 connman
Control: tags - moreinfo unreproducible

The problem is fixed by removing connman. connman seem to wrongly assign
IP address to bridge port interface (e.g. veth??), and this causes
problem in host network.

This issue is similar to [0].

Bug#1023865: docker.io: docker build breaks breaks host network

2022-11-11 Thread
Package: docker.io
Version: 20.10.19+dfsg1-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

When using `docker build`, my host network, and container network are
both down. This problem make `docker build` useless since it cannot
download necessary artifacts to build image anymore. The problematic
docker file is
https://github.com/apache/flink-docker/blob/master/1.16/scala_2.12-java11-ubuntu/Dockerfile.
However, other Dockerfile can also reprocedure the issue.

The problem might be caused by additinoal routing table record added by
docker. The following is normal `route` output:

Kernel IP routing table

Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref
Use Iface
default _gateway0.0.0.0 UG60000
wlp3s0

10.0.3.00.0.0.0 255.255.255.0   U 0  0

  0 docker0
192.168.0.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0   U 60000

And the following is `route` output when `docker build` is running:

Kernel IP routing table

The new entry for default destination might cause the problem.

Detail:

cppman setup ${source}_keywords table in [0]. However, this feature does
not support migrating old database into new one. So if anyone has legacy

dyff is a diff tool designed for YAML only to show the parts of a YAML
file that change.

Each difference is referenced by its location in the YAML document by
using either the Spruce or go-patch path syntax. The output report aims
to be as compact as possible to give a clear and simple overview of the
change.

Similar to the standard diff tool, it follows the principle of
describing the change by going from the from input file to the target to
input file.

  Description : filter Kubernetes resources

 kfilt is a tool that lets you filter specific resources from a stream
 of Kubernetes YAML manifests. It can read manifests from a file, URL,
 or from stdin.

 kfilt was primarily created to assist developers who are creating Helm
 charts or Kustomize bases. Often, when making changes, it is helpful to
 narrow down focus to a specific resource or set of resources in the
 output. Without kfilt, you might redirect output to a file for
 inspection in your text editor or to write complicated grep commands.
 kfilt makes it easy to filter the output to see just the resources you
 are currently interested in. Or, to exclude specific resources.

 You can also use kfilt to selectively apply (or delete) resources with
 kubectl.

This package will be maintained under go team.

Bug#916518: ITP: stern -- tail multiple pods on Kubernetes and multiple containers within the pod

2018-12-15 Thread
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: ChangZhuo Chen (陳昌倬)

* Package name: stern
  Version : 1.10.0
  Upstream Author : Copyright 2016 Wercker Holding BV
* URL : https://github.com/wercker/stern
* License : Apache 2.0
  Programming Lang: golang
  Description : tail multiple pods on Kubernetes and multiple containers
within the pod

 Stern allows you to tail multiple pods on Kubernetes and multiple
 containers within the pod. Each result is color coded for quicker
 debugging.
 .
 The query is a regular expression so the pod name can easily be
 filtered and you don't need to specify the exact id (for instance
 omitting the deployment id). If a pod is deleted it gets removed from
 tail and if a new pod is added it automatically gets tailed.
 .
 When a pod contains multiple containers Stern can tail all of them too
 without having to do this manually for each one. Simply specify the
 container flag to limit what containers to show. By default all
 containers are listened to.

I also have problem inputting Traditional Chinese with fcitx-libpinyin
in Bopomofo mode. Let me check with upstream about this issue.

I use fcitx-chewing as my input method because I am also chewing

dumb-init and tini are almost the same. However, as Andrew said, tini is
needed for docker engine, so we still need to package tini.

 Tini is the simplest init you could think of.

 All Tini does is spawn a single child (Tini is meant to be run in a
 container), and wait for it to exit all the while reaping zombies and
 performing signal forwarding.

 Virtualenvs makes it easier to work on more than one project at a time

 pipenv is a tool that aims to bring the best of all packaging worlds to the
 Python world. It automatically creates and manages a virtualenv for your
 projects, as well as adds/removes packages from your Pipfile as you
 install/uninstall packages. It also generates the ever–important Pipfile.lock,
 which is used to produce deterministic builds.

The current control is:

  Package: libpinyin13-dev
  Provides: libpinyin-dev
  Conflicts: libpinyin-dev

And after checking the policy, I think it falls to the following case
described in policy:

  Conflicts should be used
  ..
* in conjunction with Provides when only one package providing a given
virtual facility may be unpacked at a time (see Virtual packages - Provides),

So I think we don't need to Conflicts libpinyin7-dev.

Since you request a transition for fcitx, and libpinyin transition also
need to rebuild fcitx, maybe we shall do it together so that we don't
