I was unable to get apt updates for Debian Stretch (Yeah, it was Debian 9). I tried to dist-upgrade from source https://deb.debian.org/debian stable main , which means I upgraded from Debian 9 directly to Debian 12. I got dependency problems, and multiple package installation failures. This is one of those. As Debian 9 is out of support now and I can't reproduce it on Debian 12, I guess we can dismiss this issue. Sorry for the inconvenience I brought you.
