Bug#673231: O: aaphoto -- Auto Adjust Photo, automatic color correction of photos
Package: wnpp Severity: normal Dear Developers and Maintainers, I don't have the resources to maintain my aaphoto package for Debian anymore, so I intend to orphan the aaphoto package. If anyone is interested to adopt it, feel free to get in touch with me, I gladly give all the info or help I can. The package description is: Auto Adjust Photo is a tiny command-line image manipulation tool for automatic color correction of photos. It tries to make the picture look better. The program does this by analyzing the input image and then sets the most optimal contrast, gamma, color balance and saturation for it. Bug#656243: roundcube-core: File name of attachment displayed incorrectly
Package: roundcube-core Version: 0.5.4 Severity: important When I compose a mail and attach a file with extra characters in it, then the file name of the attachment on the sent mail is displayed incorrectly - as if with a wrong encoding. This problem exists only on the user interface. On both server side and at the recipient side the file name of the attachment appears good. What more, sending mail from a mail client (Thunderbird or Oulook) doesn't bring up any issues either. It is only according to mails that are sent from within Roundcube. The solution to the problem is tracked down in this thread: http://trac.roundcube.net/ticket/1488311 On Debian, both the backported version of Roundcube 0.5.4 and the current unstable version 0.7 is packaged to be depended on the PHP Pear modul Mail_Mime 1.8.0 which is incorrect. The folloing command solves it on a Debian 6 box: pear install mail_mime The following files get changed by this: /usr/share/php/Mail/mimePart.php /usr/share/php/.registry/mail_mime.reg /usr/share/php/.filemap /usr/share/php/Mail/mime.php So the backported version, the testing and the unstable version of Roundcube (roundcube-core) should be packaged with php-mail-mime version 1.8.2, which is the current latest version of the upstream Mail_Mime PHP Pear modul. -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0.3 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#597499: unblock: aaphoto/0.38-2
Package: release.debian.org Severity: normal User: release.debian@packages.debian.org Usertags: freeze-exception Please unblock package aaphoto version 0.38-2. This is only a bugfix relese and i fixed serious problems with this version. The most important bug is among the multi threading code part. The colors of the output image may become corrupt when running it with multiple threads. The single threaded run gives good result. This is because there is a misconception in my code concerning multi threading with OpenMP and concurrent threads accessed same variables and memory and some arrays went uninitialized too. The fix was trivial though. There were other bugs in the BMP writer and PNG reader functions too. I tested this version with a shell script that throws random image input to my program with random option switches, and check the md5sum of the output of the single threaded and multi threaded runs, then run it again with new input values. I kept it running for long and gave it a massive test with success. I'd be pleased if you let it go into the frozen testing. Bug#369517: linux-image-2.6.16-1-alpha-smp: undefined scsi symbols; fails to allocate percpu data
Hi, FWIW, I managed to compile an SMP kernel (using gcc-4.0 since gcc-4.1 won't compile it). I decided to compile scsi disk (and driver etc) support in statically and found out that some symbols called 'exit' are not found when linking vmlinux together. Based on some googling I commented out the module_exit() and the __exit functions in drivers/scsi/sd.c and that allowed me to link the kernel together (I figured we won't need it anyway since sd will be statically compiled in). It boots and works fine now, and both CPUs are happy:) I believe you know more about how the kernel is linked than I do and I hope the above may give a clue on what's wrong with the alpha/smp kernel. thanks for your help, Andras -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe.
