Package: percona-toolkit Version: 2.2.20-1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer, When trying to use percona-toolkit, specifically pt-heartbeat, on stretch, it does not work anymore. The following worked with jessie: pt-heartbeat --database statistics --check --host localhost --port 8573 --user ptheartbeat --password supersecret --utc --charset utf8 --master-server-id 99 After upgrading to stretch, I instead get the following error message: install_driver(mysql) failed: Attempt to reload DBD/mysql.pm aborted. Compilation failed in require at (eval 37) line 3. at /usr/bin/pt-heartbeat line 2829. The upgrade to stretch worked otherwise, and all needed packages for percona-toolkit are installed, yet something seems to be missing/not working. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.1 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/12 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_CH.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_CH.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=de_CH:de (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages percona-toolkit depends on: ii gdb 7.12-6 ii libdbd-mysql-perl 4.041-2 ii libdbi-perl 1.636-1+b1 ii libterm-readkey-perl 2.37-1 ii perl 5.24.1-3+deb9u1 percona-toolkit recommends no packages. percona-toolkit suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
