if cron.weekly deletes files, the list is mailed to root. Other programs send
nothing on success. It would be nice to have the verbosity configurable in
/etc/default/approx, or disable printing by default.

is not reported. The problem is especially unpleasant if one tries to
delete multiple files: no error is reported, and the selection is lost.
