Bug#1051064: fonts-b612: The package is either missing or has mislabled the regular font style.

2023-09-01 Thread Brad Sims
Package: fonts-b612
Version: 1.008-3
Severity: important
X-Debbugs-Cc: brad.m.s...@gmail.com

Dear Maintainer,

After installing the package, the regular font style is italizised.
There is no regular font style available.

If I install the fonts manually from upstream it functions correctly.

Bug#371881: #371881: amarok: Amarok in Sid doesn't play BBC realplayer webcast

2006-06-09 Thread Brad Sims
Package: amarok
Version: 1.4-beta3c-1
Followup-For: Bug #371881

I can confirm that this bug exists with 1.4.0a-1...

I upgraded Amarok Amarok-xine and amarok-engines to 1.4.0a-1
and it failed to load the BBC webcasts.

I downgraded Amarok and amarok-xine to 1.4-beta3c-1
 from http://people.debian.org/~adeodato/packages/amarok-latest/
 and it now works again.

2006-06-07 Thread Brad Sims
Package: amarok
Version: 1.4-beta3c-1
Severity: normal

Amarok on Sid doesn't appear to be able to open BBC webcasts though
it does other ram webcasts

I downgraded to amarok_1.4-beta3c from Experimental and it worked
just fine.

If there is anything I can do to help you (bearing in mind that I am
no programer) let me know.

Bug#345484: udev: Udev doesn't properly create symlinks for cdrom and dvd drives

2005-12-31 Thread Brad Sims
Package: udev
Version: 0.076-6
Severity: minor

I have a DVD writer on /dev/hdc and a cdrom writer on /dev/hdd.
Symlinks are properly created for /dev/dvd but the symlink for
/dev/cdrom isn't; both /dev/dvd and /dev/cdrom point to /dev/hdc.

While this is trivial to fix it, it is annoying.

Bug#345494: udev: Udevd isn't started at boot-time, and will only start if called with restart

2005-12-31 Thread Brad Sims
Package: udev
Version: 0.079-1
Severity: important

As udev has replaced hotplug, I need udevd to monitor
usb insertions and the like.

I tried doing /etc/init.d/udev start but that failed, the only
way to get it to start was to do /etc/init.d/udev restart.

That does work but is a bit of a work-around.

Bug#343757: udev: Udevd doesn't create symlink in /etc/rc*.d

2005-12-17 Thread Brad Sims
Package: udev
Version: 0.076-6
Severity: normal

As udevd isn't started at boottime hotplug type events
are not usable, it needs to add an entry in /etc/rc*.d

With the previous version this functionality was provided by
hotplug but the new udev has superceded hotplug.

Bug#290992: gqview: unable to close using keyboard shortcuts when in fullscreen mode

2005-01-17 Thread Brad Sims
Package: gqview
Version: 1.4.5-1
Severity: wishlist

Alt+F4 closes the program when in normal mode but
when you are in fullscreen mode it doesn't close the program.

I think that if it did it would be a bit more consistant.
