Bug#861090: khelpcenter: Required guide file cannot be elaborated

2017-04-24 Thread Carmelo Leggio
Package: khelpcenter
Version: 4:16.08.3-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
 ineffective)?
   * What was the outcome of this action?
   * What outcome did you expect instead?

*** End of the template - remove these template lines ***
I opened Okular and tried to read its manual via khelpcenter, but it complains
with the following message (mine is in Italian, so I'm guessing what's the
message in English):
The required guide file cannot be elaborated::/usr/share/doc/kde/HTML/it//okular/index.docbook

Bug#750854: Updated news on the problem

2014-07-05 Thread Carmelo Leggio
Hi the problem I reported with the files at
http://vmiklos.hu/blog/lo-writer-drawingml-shape-improvements.html seems
to be resolved with the latest version in experimental libreoffice
(1:4.3.0~rc2-1) , this part

  * debian/scripts/gid2pkgdirs.sh:
install gid_Module_Filters (oox-drawingml-{adj-names,cs-presets})

I think resolved the anomaly,sorry for the possible annoyance, regards
and keep up with the good work :-)

Bug#599045: Here are my logs

2011-10-27 Thread Carmelo Leggio
Hi, I've downloaded again form subversion the software, in order to get
a clean series of logs and to check possible troubles.
In the attachment you'll find the output of the commands I've
entered,redirected to a file,ordered in the correct sequence:
1) autogen.sh output - 1Autogen.txt;
2) configure output  - 2Configure.txt;
3) make output   - 3Make.txt

A note regarding the last two file:

4aCheckinstall.txt is a copy of the prompts translated to English (mine
is partially in Italian);
4bCheckinstall.txt is the output of Checkinstall launched as root.

I hope this can help you

Regards

Bug#599045: Get tesseract to compile with configure --disable-multiple-libraries

2011-10-26 Thread Carmelo Leggio
Hi,I'm sorry to bother you and I hope I'm doing this the right way,
I noticed some time ago that a new version of Tesseract was available on
the website and I tried to compile myself the latest version taken from
svn some days ago,using checkinstall and auto-apt,on my laptop with
Squeeze.
As far as I can tell,also according to the issue page on the official
website, this problem seems to be solved.
If you want I can provide my compile log for reference.

Bug#598214: update info on the bug

2010-10-05 Thread Carmelo Leggio
At the moment after some updates the problem seems to be
resolved,perhaps gnome-system-monitor had some problem with lsb-release
or lsb-base or with python,because if I recall right I recently updated
both of these packages.
Good work and good luck to all
