Bug#834218: Bug also in 4.7

Hi there, this case can be closed. Looks like something in 4.5 changed (it was reproducible in 4.8, 4.9 and 4.10-trunk) and the modules are not getting loaded automatically anymore. After adding the modules to /etc/modules everything works fine on my end. Everything works again on my end!

I've tested using irw (no output when I'm pressing keys) and am using Kodi which just does nothing when I press a key since linux 4.5.   Regards Christoph

Bug#551498: Workaround

Didn't work for me. I rebooted my system and am still only getting the dummy interface for pulseaudio. Restarting udev (/etc/init.d/udev stop /etc/init.d/udev start) works for pulseaudio, but is giving me other problems. Regards Christoph Schwerdtfeger -- Jetzt kostenlos herunterladen

Bug#551498: Restarting udev helped (kinda)

After restarting udev in a (GNOME) terminal the sound card was shown in the PulseAudio manager and worked (tried with totem). But I then had problems with my keyboard... Looks like it's a problem with udev? I'm using Debian/unstable with udev 146. Regards Christoph Schwerdtfeger -- GRATIS für
