Hi. The bug seems to be partially resolved. As far as I can see, the situation with the new version is the following: - if the locale is ISO-8859-1, no problem, as before. - if the locale is UTF-8 and ID3 tags are also UTF-8, no problem. This is a great improvement, great work! - but if the locale is UTF-8 and ID3 tags are ISO-8859-1, gkrellm still freezes when opening such a file with xmms.
