Bug#877649: cdrom: Stuck when install any DE with apt

2017-10-03 Thread Gabriel Furtado Pires
Package: cdrom
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

(I'm not sure if I am opening this report in the right area, sorry if I'm
wrong)

I'm using the net install debian stretch media.

Every time I install the system, then some Desktop Environment, the dpkg
process stuck with "dbus" I guess.

Steps to reproduce:

-Install the system with the minimal media
-Uncheck all the options (ssh server, desktop environment...)
-reboot the system, then apt install *desktop environment* (test with lxde)

The installation will always stuck (I've test this with many different
machines)

Workaround:

-After the process freeze, press "Ctrl, alt & del" to reboot the system again,
then use "dpkg --configure -a" to finish the process

(command "shutdown" won't work before I install an DE, not sure why)

Bug#868804: xrdp: doesn't show the session after loggin with Xorg

2017-07-18 Thread Gabriel Furtado Pires
Package: xrdp
Version: 0.9.1-9
Severity: important

Debian 9 Stretch, xrdp 0.9.1-9, tightvncserver 1:1.3.9-9, rdesktop 1.8.3.2+b1

Dear Maintainer,

I'm connecting to a host machine using the following command

"Ex rdesktop 192.168.1.101"

and set login and password, but after I click in ok, I can only see the
background blue screen.

I have tried to connect with login and password parameters:

"rdesktop 192.168.1.101 -u (user) -p (password)"

but it only display a black screen.

I'm not sure if this is xrdp fault, but I can still connect to machines running
debian jessie with no problems (also using tightvncserver and rdesktop)

Bug#868801: rdesktop: Segmentation Fault with rdesktop 1.8.3-2

2017-07-18 Thread Gabriel Furtado Pires
Package: rdesktop
Version: 1.8.2-3+deb8u1
Severity: normal

Debian 9 Stretch, rdesktop 1.8.3-2+b1

Dear Maintainer,

When I try to connect to a Windows Server 2008 machine, the program finishes
with a segfault message

Workaround: I successfully connect after downgrade to "rdesktop_1.8.2-3+deb8u1"
(jessie version) and install "libssl1.0.0_1.0.1t-1+deb8u6" (dependency), then
use "apt-mark hold rdesktop" so it wouldn't upgrade.

Not sure if the problem is only with rdesktop, since I can connect to another
server with the same version, but this server uses a different type of
licensing.

Bug#857663: rdesktop: Mouse pointer glitch using rdesktop

2017-03-13 Thread Gabriel Furtado Pires
Package: rdesktop
Version: 1.8.2-3+deb8u1
Severity: normal

This glich I've only experienced using a moba "ECS P4M800-M v1.0"

When I try to use rdesktop in a computer with this specific motherboard, the
mouse pointer change to a "glitch box", no matter if it's a windows or linux
server.
This glitch doesn't happen in wheezy or stretch, and update to an newer version
of rdesktop in jessie doesn't fix this.

Apparently it's a problem with this specific motherboard (and jessie's
package), since this doesn't occurs with another moba.

Bug#857397: rdesktop: Failed to negotiate protocol with Windows server 2008

2017-03-10 Thread Gabriel Furtado Pires
Package: rdesktop
Version: 1.8.3-2+b1
Severity: normal

When I try to connect with rdesktop in a windows server 2008, the terminal say:

" Failed to negotiate protocol, retrying with plain RDP."

This bug happened in the begining of jessie, but has a workaround installing
the ubuntu package (1.8.3.2) and was fixed later.
Now in the test version, it's happening again.

(This doesn't happen in older versions of debian)
