Package: libhypre-2.11.1-3 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, *** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * What led up to the situation? Attempted to install hypre using aptitude install hypre-2.11.1 * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? Uninstalled package, purged package. ran apt-get clean. * What was the outcome of this action? The installation still only installed /usr/share/doc, /var/cache/apt/archives/libhypre-2.11.1_2.11.1-3amd64.deb and /var/lib/dpkg/info. The actual library was never installed. * What outcome did you expect instead? Bug#509956: kicad draws radius lines of arc
Now that has been some time ago. It would have to be on a kicad mailing list, but I don't have a record any more. I haven't been using kicad lately. (different projects) . Sorry I can't be of more help. It would seem that that bug should have been fixed long ago. It made the package useless for some projects. Good Luck Gary Roachy Maximilian Gaukler wrote: The bug that kicad draws the radius lines of an arc is still present on a current lenny system. I have attached a picture with some explanation. Gary, do you still have the internet address of the discussion about this problem? Bug#509956: kicad: eeschema arc drawing malfunction 2nd. copy
Package: kicad Version: 0.0.20071129a-1 Severity: important The Eeschema arc drawing function draws pie shaped objects (i.e. the radii are also drawn in). I checked the existing library sets for objects using arcs - such as logic symbols - and found that they all have the same problem. My search of the internet found that others have had the same problem. Someone said that the problem was in the libwxGTK file and had been fixed in a newer version. I tried to install the unstable version but it seems to be broken. For me, this is a level 2 problem. I can't use the package with the problem. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.20.7 (PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages kicad depends on: ii kicad-common 0.0.20071129a-1 Common files used by kicad ii libc62.7-16 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.3.2-1 GCC support library ii libgl1-mesa-glx [libgl1] 7.0.3-6 A free implementation of the OpenG ii libglu1-mesa [libglu1] 7.0.3-6 The OpenGL utility library (GLU) ii libstdc++6 4.3.2-1 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libwxbase2.6-0 2.6.3.2.2-3 wxBase library (runtime) - non-GUI ii libwxgtk2.6-02.6.3.2.2-3 wxWidgets Cross-platform C++ GUI t kicad recommends no packages. kicad suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe.
