Same problem here.
The fix "apt-get install --reinstall postfix" only helps partially:
1) after executing the command, postfix starts
2)
active and shows the right permissions. However, the
user logs ins with No directory, logging in with HOME=/ and trying to
access the nfs4-mounted home results in a permission denied error.
After downgrading winbind to version 3.6.6 again, everything works
as expected.

The patched .deb-files from Daniel Hess (post #44) work for me and solve the

Hi,
I can confirm the problem with the grayed-out start button here on a lenny

1) insert a CD (Audio or Data) in any of my drives
2) start k3b
3) select copy CD
4) The target-field states insert empty CD, and it is impossible to

This is especially annoying when the prelight color of menu items has a dark

Hi,
I figured out today that in etch autofs still loads before nis. This does not
allow to load automounter-maps from nis, which I used to do and which is
documented in /usr/share/doc/autofs/Readme.Debian (setting automount: nis
in /etc/nsswitch.conf).
I manually moved autofs to init level 20,
