Bug#639966: mail-notification-evolution: Needs to be updated for the recent Testing release of Evolution 3.0
Package: mail-notification-evolution Version: 5.4.dfsg.1-2.4+b1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable Evolution can no longer find the plugin required for Mail Notification to work, and thus Mail Notification cannot find Evolution. The files in this package are installed into the 2.32 plugins directory, which is no longer used by the updated 3.0 version of Evolution: /usr/lib/evolution/2.32/plugins/liborg-jylefort-mail-notification.so /usr/lib/evolution/2.32/plugins/org-jylefort-mail-notification.eplug Moving these files into /usr/lib/evolution/3.0/plugins/ shows the plugin in Evolution's plugin's window, but it is not able to be enabled rendering the package unusable. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.0.0-1-686-pae (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages mail-notification-evolution depends on: ii libatk1.0-02.0.1-2 ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.13-16 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libcairo2 1.10.2-6.1The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libcamel1.2-19 2.32.3-1 Evolution MIME message handling li ii libdbus-1-31.4.14-1 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libdbus-glib-1-2 0.94-4simple interprocess messaging syst ii libedataserver1.2-14 3.0.2.1-1 Utility library for evolution data ii libenchant1c2a 1.6.0-3 Wrapper library for various spell ii libevolution 3.0.2-1 evolution libraries ii libfontconfig1 2.8.0-3 generic font configuration library ii libfreetype6 2.4.6-2 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libgconf2-42.32.4-1 GNOME configuration database syste ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.23.5-3 GDK Pixbuf library ii libglib2.0-0 2.28.6-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-02.24.4-3 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libgtkhtml-editor-3.14 3.32.2-2 HTML rendering/editing library - e ii libgtkhtml3.14-19 3.32.2-2 HTML rendering/editing library - r ii libnspr4-0d4.8.9-1 NetScape Portable Runtime Library ii libnss3-1d 3.12.11-1 Network Security Service libraries ii libpango1.0-0 1.28.4-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libsoup2.4-1 2.34.3-1 HTTP library implementation in C - ii libsqlite3-0 3.7.7-2 SQLite 3 shared library ii libunique-1.0-01.1.6-2 Library for writing single instanc ii libxml22.7.8.dfsg-4 GNOME XML library ii mail-notification 5.4.dfsg.1-2.4+b1 mail notification in system tray mail-notification-evolution recommends no packages. mail-notification-evolution suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#579793: Evolution 2.30 IMAP issues
I am also having similar issues with IMAP in the recent upgrade of Evolution in Squeeze. I have several IMAP accounts connected to different servers. Two of these servers work correctly (Courier and ISP's unknown server), but all the accounts on the Dovecot server fail. In addition to this, if Evolution is started in online mode, it appears to hang indefinitely. It draws the screen without folder lists/messages and when minimised and redrawn is blank even when left for 2 hours. For the accounts that fail, the Inbox disappears and all mail in the Inbox folder is deleted (subfolders appear intact). If you resubscribe, it appears to work for that session, but sometimes requires resubscribing during that same session!). Interestingly, the subfolders for the accounts are still active and working correctly (but unseen under Evolution) as Jean-Yves Lefort's Mail Notification plugin reports new mail for those but lists the Inbox folders as Folder not found. I have tried 2 accounts with IMAP+ on the Dovecot server and they appear to (mostly) work, but I would really prefer to not have to redownload 1G + worth of email (kept on the server as I use several machines and occasionally webmail). Is there some conversion util? I tried hacking the gconf files unsuccessfully. Ian. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Bug#427768: clamav-base: Incorrect AllowSupplementaryGroups value in clamd.conf
Package: clamav-base Version: 0.90.3-1~volatile1 Severity: important AllowSupplementaryGroups is set to true in clamav.conf but the correct value appears to be yes. After removing the clamav.conf file, I reconfigured the package using dpkg-reconfigure clamav-base to double check and the setting is set to true by the reconfigure script. This bug causes ClamAV to fail when called directly from Amavis-new (however the alternative virus scan does succeed). I believe this bug should be rated important as once fixed the scan time for each email dropped from 28000ms (the backup scan) to 70ms (primary scan). This naturally would have a large impact on a busy mail server. The fix for this bug was discovered here: http://wiki.mandriva.com/en/Releases/Mandriva/2007.1/Errata#Amavis_fails_to_scan_some_messages_with_error_lstat.28.29_failed -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-4-686 Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages clamav-base depends on: ii adduser 3.102 Add and remove users and groups ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.11 Debian configuration management sy ii logrotate 3.7.1-3Log rotation utility ii ucf 2.0020 Update Configuration File: preserv Versions of packages clamav-base recommends: ii clamav0.90.3-1~volatile1 antivirus scanner for Unix -- debconf information: * clamav-base/ScanMail: true * clamav-base/LogSyslog: true * clamav-base/AddGroups: amavis clamav-base/socket-note: * clamav-base/FixStaleSocket: true clamav-base/FollowDirectorySymlinks: false * clamav-base/debconf: true clamav-base/numinfo: clamav-base/TCPAddr: any * clamav-base/SelfCheck: 3600 * clamav-base/ReadTimeout: 180 * clamav-base/ScanRAR: false * clamav-base/ScanArchive: true * clamav-base/TcpOrLocal: UNIX * clamav-base/FollowFileSymlinks: false * clamav-base/MaxConnectionQueueLength: 15 * clamav-base/ArchiveMaxRecursion: 5 * clamav-base/ArchiveMaxFileSize: 10 * clamav-base/MaxThreads: 12 * clamav-base/MaxDirectoryRecursion: 15 * clamav-base/LogFile: /var/log/clamav/clamav.log * clamav-base/LogTime: true * clamav-base/LocalSocket: /var/run/clamav/clamd.ctl * clamav-base/ArchiveMaxCompressionRatio: 250 * clamav-base/StreamMaxLength: 10; clamav-base/TCPSocket: 3310 * clamav-base/User: clamav * clamav-base/ArchiveMaxFiles: 1000 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe.
