Another me-too: We have been hit by what I believe is this bug.
We use LVM2 on top of MD (RAID1) and take snapshots of logical volumes
for backup. After a recent long-overdue upgrade to lenny, the very
first backup of /home (residing on its own logical volume) hung during
snapshot
