Dear Maintainer, *** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * What led up to the situation? * I installed ufoai-server through apt. Starting the server showed an error in journalctl * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? * I tried setting configuration options in /usr/lib/ufoai-server/debian-server.cfg which is a symlink to /etc/ufoai-server/server.cfg. * What was the outcome of this action? * None of the options were applied * What outcome did you expect instead? * That the options would be used by the server I found a workaround for this (or perhaps the actual solution). The issue seems to have to do with the WorkingDirectory in the SystemD unit. If I add this to the SystemD unit, then ufoai-server will successfully read the config file WorkingDirectory=/usr/lib/ufoai-server That solved my issue. -- System Information: Debian Release: 11.5 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.10.0-18-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU threads) Locale: LANG=en_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_CA:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages ufoai-server depends on: ii adduser 3.118 ii libc6 2.31-13+deb11u4 ii libcurl3-gnutls 7.74.0-1.3+deb11u3 ii libgcc-s1 10.2.1-6 ii libsdl2-2.0-0 2.0.14+dfsg2-3+deb11u1 ii libstdc++6 10.2.1-6 ii ufoai-common 2.5-6 ii ufoai-maps 2.5-2 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.11.dfsg-2+deb11u2 ufoai-server recommends no packages.
