Bug#702374: postfix: get message Relay Access Denied, when using SASL
Hello, I'm having the same problem than Dany since postfix update from 2.9.6-1 to 2.10.0-1. Downgrading to 2.9.6-1 solved the problem. I'm using SASL authentication with cyrus-sasl daemon (saslauthd from sasl2-bin) and no conf files wre changed during the upgrade. main.cf file contains : smtpd_sasl_path = smtpd smtpd_sasl_path = var/run/saslauthd/mux smtpd_recipient_restrictions = permit_mynetworks, permit_sasl_authenticated, reject_unauth_destination smtpd_sasl_auth_enable = yes and here is sasl/smtpd.conf : pwcheck_method: saslauthd log_level: 3 authdaemond_path: /var/run/saslauthd/mux mech_list: PLAIN LOGIN allow_plaintext: true When I try to send an email to an address outside my domains, I've got a Relay acces denied error. Here is the relevant log in /var/log/mail.info : Mar 6 18:34:26 localhost postfix/smtpd[5203]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from client.example.com[XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX]: 554 5.7.1 d...@example.com: Relay access denied; from=me@my.domain to=d...@example.com proto=ESMTP helo=[XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX] I think that the sasl authentication does work : when I put a wrong password, I can see the authentication failure in auth.log (nothing is written in log file when authentication succeeds). I've been able to solve the problem by adding this line to the conf (main.cf) : smtpd_relay_restrictions = permit_sasl_authenticated, permit_mynetworks, reject_unauth_destination but I'm not sure there will be no side effects. Bug#539366: cron.daily/apt: $VERBOSE accessed before sanitised: [: 324:, Illegal number
Hi, From manual page, it seems the right way to use apt-config should be : # Set VERBOSE mode from apt-config (or inherit from environment) VERBOSE=0 eval $(apt-config shell VERBOSE APT::Periodic::Verbose) instead of # Set VERBOSE mode from apt-config (or inherit from environment) eval $(apt-config shell VERBOSE APT::Periodic::Verbose) debug_echo verbose level $VERBOSE if [ -z $VERBOSE ]; then VERBOSE=0 fi I think this solves the problem with script execution. Bug#413995: dovecot-common: lda doesn't work anymore with exim
Package: dovecot-common Version: 1.0.rc26-1 Severity: important With the last update (1.0.rc26-1), the access permissions on /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf changed to 600 (related to bug #413081). Bug#409252: icedove: Can't drag-and-drop emails between folders on IMAP
Hi, I have the same problem, not only on IMAP folders but on local ones too but I'm not sure it is an icedove bug. I've seen the same bug report on BSD and Fedora forums and it seems to be a bug in libgtk2.0.0 (version 2.10.7-1 in experimental) (see https://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-list/2007-January/msg04036.html for example). When I try to move a message from one folder to another, I get the error : Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_drag_get_data: assertion `GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed Jean-Jacques -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe.
