Bug#1061044: nagvis: Website only response with a PHP-Deprecation Error.

2024-01-16 Thread Jens Ritter
Package: nagvis
Version: 1:1.9.34-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

the provided nagvis-package does not work out-of-the-box. It only
provides this Error-Message in the Browser:

Error: (0) Creation of dynamic property GlobalMainCfg::$PUCACHE is deprecated
URL: /nagvis/frontend/nagvis-js/index.php?mod=Map=view=demo-muc-srv1
File: /usr/share/nagvis/share/server/core/classes/GlobalMainCfg.php

GlobalMainCfg->init()
#2 /usr/share/nagvis/share/frontend/nagvis-js/index.php(41): require('...')
#3 {main}

Upstream provides an update for PHP8.2-Errors
(https://www.nagvis.org/downloads/changelog/1.9.36)

Is there any way possible to include this changes ?

Bug#1034702: backupninja: changed rdiffbackup logs "WARNING: this command line interface is deprecated"

2023-04-21 Thread Jens Ritter
Package: backupninja
Version: 1.2.2-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
 ineffective)?
   * What was the outcome of this action?
   * What outcome did you expect instead?

*** End of the template - remove these template lines ***

Running backupninja creates warnings-logs while removing old backups :
WARNING: this command line interface is deprecated and will disappear, start
using the new one as described with '--new --help'

In the FAQ this is mentioned for another option:
https://rdiff-backup.net/FAQ.html#why_does_rdiff_backup_complain_about_command_line_interface_being_deprecated_even_though_im_using_the_new_syntax

Chaning the line 177 in /usr/share/backupninja/rdiff:

removestr="$RDIFFBACKUP $options --force --remove-older-than $keep "
to
removestr="$RDIFFBACKUP $options remove increments --older-than $keep "

seams to help.
