Bug#378446: still no pairing possible

2006-07-27 Thread Johannes Raspe
Hi,

I just tried pairing between my PC and my phone, but with the new version I
get the following errors:
Letting my phone search for devices: no device can be found (with version 2.25
the pc is found by the phone)
Starting wammu: I get a pin-request on the phone, type in the pin (as
in /etc/bluetooth/hcid.conf and in /etc/bluetooth/passkeys/default) and the
phone tells me that pairing didn't succeed, wammu tells me:
Error while communicating with phone

Description: Error opening device. Unknown/busy or no permissions.
Function: Init
Error code: 2

Please reopen the bug :-(

Bug#378446: pairing seems not to be fixed with 3.1-2

2006-07-17 Thread Johannes Raspe
Pairing still does not work with 3.1-2. My mobile phone doesn't see the PC and
pairing requests from th PC to the phone fail without any request for a
passkey.
After downgrading to 2.25-1 the phone finds the PC and pairing works.

Everything seems to work fine with the new version and an already paired
device (e.g. wammu finds the phone).
