Bug#639240: Same problem with newly created files

Bug#639240: Same problem with newly created files
Ok just found the problem: the line file: file was commented in /etc/gnome-vfs-2.0/modules/default-modules.conf to get around an iceweasel issue (see #626076). Decommenting this line fixed Revelation. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
Bug#639240: revelation: Fails to open any file
Package: revelation Version: 0.4.11-9 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable Sine a recent upgrade in testing (I can't find the package introducing the problem), revelation can't open files anymore, it always fails with the following stack trace: Traceback (most recent call last): File /usr/bin/revelation, line 191, in lambda action.connect(activate, lambda w: self.file_open()) File /usr/bin/revelation, line 1460, in file_open file = dialog.OpenFileSelector(self).run() File /usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/revelation/dialog.py, line 463, in run filename = self.get_filename() File /usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/revelation/dialog.py, line 451, in get_filename return io.file_normpath(urllib.unquote(uri)) File /usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/revelation/io.py, line 215, in file_normpath return re.sub(^file:/{,2}, , str(gnomevfs.URI(file))) TypeError: could not parse URI The file is on my local hard drive, in my home directory. I've tried removing this call to gnomevfs.URI but then it fails later when calling gnomevfs.read_entire_file with a Invalid URL error. I've tried to create and save a new file and I get the same error. In fact I've just tested with a file coming from a samba share and it works, so problem seems to be on local files only. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
Bug#534592: backupninja: desturl config option missing in duplicity handler
Package: backupninja Version: 0.9.6-4 Severity: normal The desturl parameter support in duplicity handler has been totally removed in the debian package since 0.9.6-1. In fact, the dup handler is the one from 0.9.5-3. Since this is not mentionned anywhere, and that the Debian changelog say exactly the contrary (Support every duplicity-supported transport with new config option desturl), I thought it could be a bug in the Debian package. The Debian changelog for 0.9.6-1 even closes two bugs which were requesting this parameter, so they were wrongly closed. If it's really desired, could you explain why and document it please ? I have replaced the debian package's dup handler with the one from backupninja 0.9.6 upstream source and it seems to work correctly, at least for FTP. Bug#409192: backupninja: wrong default value for partitionsfile variable in example.sys file
Package: backupninja Version: 0.9.4-6 Severity: minor The example.sys file in /usr/share/doc/backupninja/examples/ say that it provides default values in commented lines. The partitionsfile variable line is set to /var/backups/partitions.*.txt, but the real default value (found in /usr/share/backupninja/sys) is /var/backups/partitions.__star__.txt. Using this example file and uncommenting this line, the * character will not be replaced by the disk label and then all partitions tables will be written in the same file (so each table overwrite the previous one). Moreover, it seems that the __star__ replacement is not documented (I discovered this behavior in the sys handler source file). -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-3-686 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe.
