Bug#1036752: bat: manpage is missing, README.debian is missing

2023-05-25 Thread Kyungjoon Lee
Package: bat
Version: 0.22.1-2
Severity: normal
X-Debbugs-Cc: kjoon...@gmail.com

Dear Maintainer,

After the bat binary was renamed from batcat to bat and back to batcat, the man
page is no longer installed:

/usr/share/man/man1/batcat.1.gz

bookworm output:

$ dpkg -L bat
/.
/usr
/usr/bin
/usr/bin/batcat
/usr/share
/usr/share/doc
/usr/share/doc/bat
/usr/share/doc/bat/changelog.Debian.gz
/usr/share/doc/bat/changelog.gz
/usr/share/doc/bat/copyright
/usr/share/lintian
/usr/share/lintian/overrides
/usr/share/lintian/overrides/bat

Compare bullseye output:

$ dpkg -L bat
/.
/usr
/usr/bin
/usr/bin/batcat
/usr/share
/usr/share/doc
/usr/share/doc/bat
/usr/share/doc/bat/README.Debian
/usr/share/doc/bat/changelog.Debian.arm64.gz
/usr/share/doc/bat/changelog.Debian.gz
/usr/share/doc/bat/copyright
/usr/share/lintian
/usr/share/lintian/overrides
/usr/share/lintian/overrides/bat
/usr/share/man
/usr/share/man/man1
/usr/share/man/man1/batcat.1.gz

Bug#392207: Same bug on AMD64

2006-10-18 Thread Kyungjoon Lee

Hi, the same bug seems to be still there on the AMD64 architecture.
vlc 0.8.6-svn20061008.debian-1 seems to be the newest version for
AMD64, so using the svn20061012 version is not easily possible.
