Anyway, I rebuilt the i386 source package for amd64 and it seems OK.

Hi Martin,

thanks for the fix, but where is the stable-proposed-updates repository? 
I've been watching http://ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/etch-proposed-updates/ ,
but there's still just postgresql-8.1_8.1.9-0etch1 from 16th June.
