Bug#893997: svn2git: fails if using git in other language

2018-06-02 Thread Mario Oyorzabal Salgado

I export this repository:
https://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/bad-behavior/

I think the problem is here:
https://github.com/nirvdrum/svn2git/blob/6dac85ad12b74b478a926f09db0b110d73838702/lib/svn2git/migration.rb#L360

In the code of svn2git is waiting a english message, but in spanish the
message is different, that gives the error.

I use debian testing.

:-) ...

Francesco Paolo Lovergine wrote:

Log files moved into /var/log/proftpd since 1.3.0, you should

This is a configuration issue, not a proper error. See the new default config
in /usr/share/proftpd/templates/proftpd.conf. You have been warned at
upgrade time about those kind of things.

Checking the default proftpd.conf file, i find this new lines:

TransferLog /var/log/proftpd/xferlog
SystemLog /var/log/proftpd/proftpd.log

Thank's and checking in more doctos about that I'm can find this:

http://www.proftpd.org/docs/directives/linked/config_ref_SystemLog.html
http://www.proftpd.org/docs/directives/linked/config_ref_TransferLog.html

By default the path is /var/log, if the new path is /var/log/proftpd/ i
think is better, only i not know if the change of path may be possible set in
proftpd in the compiling configuration. :-).

I could just add logs moving
among postinst things to do, just in case.

If you can make this feature moving the log's files, i think this be cool for
users newbie (me), this no important the change if other applicattions how
logcheck and logwatch not are affected for this change.

Only have a question's:

- -the xferreport log file is generated automatic ?, or i have to set the path
for
this file too ?
- -the DefaultRoot rule is not more set in the default proftpd.conf ?

sorry my english is bad :-), thank's for all ;-)

Volker Christian Behr wrote:
 Hi,

it might be that the New-Stylus-Color-printer driver does not create
correct postscript. Try using the PostScript Color driver that comes
with CUPS-PDF (or at least some driver that explicitely says generic PS
 driver).

Since the PDF is correctly created if you call cups-pdf directly (on the
commandline) with a PS-File the printer driver seems the obvious
 culprit.

 /usr/lib/cups/backend/cups-pdf 1 root Test 1 0 some-PS-file

Now a PDF should have been created for root and in
/var/log/cups/cups-pdf_log there should be a lot of debug output.

This debug output should help determining the culprit.

I'm using with firefox, when print a file to pdf format, in the pdf file is
show pictures good, but, the background color is always black =P. I first
think a bug in firefox, but in openoffice.org is the same.

Do you mean the background is black when you view the file online using
xpdf, or when you print it onto paper?

I'm not sure that OpenOffice is currently using Xprint, I suspect it may
be printing to CUPS directly. So it's possibly not Xprint's bug, but
we'll try to work out what's going on.

It would be useful if you could provide the url of a webpage where this
happens. I presume it does not occur on all pages, only some (perhaps
those that try to provide a background colour? not all pages do that).
I don't remember seeing it happen to me.

sorry my english is poor =).

 it's fine :)

I don't think that cups are the problem, why i not have cups install, only
xprint, after how two version xprint work fine to my by now not =P. Only i make
pdf files to view on screen, not in paper.

I have done apt-get update, updating some packages, and testing again xprint
printing a pdf file, and print good, no anymore background color black, but the
update packages not are relations with xprint. can other package affect to
xprint ?.
