the problem missed sometime in the past. (I've been using fglrx) X
server didn't crash - I can normally work after closing the issue 3D
application.
I'm using Debian testing now. There are this version of xorg

I've just tried fglrx 10.6, but 3D still don't work. The clean xorg/conf
generated by aticonfig --inital -f don't help too.
There is corrupt screen from 2D game Asilum in attachment. The more 3D
games spawn black screen, among others it seems they generate stuck
system.
