Bug#940939: Upstream
Hello, I have open https://phabricator.kde.org/D22974 to propose a solution. Best regards
Bug#940939: More info
Hello, This is a Kirigami2 issue. I am trying to find a solution upstream. Please move it to this package. It may be a good idea to change the severity given that all applications using Kirigam2 are broken. Best regards
Bug#895253: ITP: elisa -- Simple music player with a focus on Plasma desktop integration and privacy
Hello, I would like to clarify the local versus online music features in Elisa. We plan to first focus on very good support for local music before trying to support online services. Local music was the focus of the 0.1 version and will probably be also the focus of the next version. I have started looking at online services and most of the popular ones no longer provide a simple way to use them outside their clients. We will need time to add support for them. We would also want to add support for MusicBrainz for example even if again the priority is to first support correctly local music before adding support for that. Best regards -- Matthieu Gallien

Bug#729602: qtbase5-dev: cmake fails to find Sql Qt5 package if all Sql drivers are not installed
Package: qtbase5-dev Version: 5.2.0~beta1+dfsg-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, Trying via cmake to find Qt5 Sql module cannot work because /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/cmake/Qt5Sql/Qt5Sql_QTDSDriverPlugin.cmake refer to files installed by package libqt5sql5-tds. Bug#473658: qt4-x11: Provide a virtual libqt4-core package to replace the existing old one
Package: qt4-x11 Version: 4.4.0~beta1-1 Severity: wishlist Hi Thank you for packaging the beta of qt4.4. Bug#452909: hal: there is big regressions about the pmu support
Package: hal Version: 0.5.10-2 Severity: normal Due to the last upload of hal, there is regression in the support of pmu. None of them seems complicated to fix as I was able to find workarounds without prior knowledge of hal and dbus stuff.. The symptom was that I was no longer able to suspend to ram using kpowersave. I used qdbusviewer to interacts with hald and also executed hals in a console. I found that /usr/lib/hal/hal-system-power-pm-is-supported reports to hal that my computer cannot suspend to ram. This is wrong. Since the regression, I was able to suspend my computer using: /usr/lib/hal/hal-system-power-pmu sleep I believe that /usr/lib/hal/hal-system-power-pm-is-supported should be fixed to at least say yes when an hal helper is able to do the job. So I have added: dbus-send --system --type=method_call --print-reply --dest=org.freedesktop.Hal \ /org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/computer org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.SetPropertyBoolean \ string:'power_management.can_suspend' boolean:true dbus-send --system --type=method_call --print-reply --dest=org.freedesktop.Hal \ /org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/computer org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.SetPropertyBoolean \ string:'power_management.can_suspend_to_ram' boolean:true to my /etc/rc.local to enforce hal to believe that my computer can suspend to ram. Now kpowersave offers the command. Yeah !!! Second problem, /usr/lib/hal/scripts/linux/hal-system-power-suspend-linux is not able to suspend to ram my computer. There the problem is that hal apparently only supports pm-utils. Again, adding those some lines solved the problem: if [ $HAL_PROP_POWER_MANAGEMENT_TYPE == pmu ] ; then if [ -x /usr/lib/hal/hal-system-power-pmu ] ; then /usr/lib/hal/hal-system-power-pmu sleep RET=$? else unsupported fi else [...] fi My computer is an iBook G4 with those informations: cat /proc/cpuinfo processor : 0 cpu : 7447A, altivec supported clock : 666.666000MHz revision: 0.2 (pvr 8003 0102) bogomips: 36.73 timebase: 18432000 platform: PowerMac machine : PowerBook6,5 motherboard : PowerBook6,5 MacRISC3 Power Macintosh detected as : 287 (iBook G4) pmac flags : 001b L2 cache: 512K unified pmac-generation : NewWorld So I submit this report to debian as I know that other debian users have the problem. I do not really have time to forward it to hal bug tracking system, even if I think that the regression is theirs. Do not hesitate to ask for more informations. So, I do not know what you can do, but it had to be reported. Thanks for your work on hal. Thanks in advance for your attention. It crashes as soon as it starts to index files after having completed the files scanning (i.e. the Documents in queue is full). If I can help, do not hesitate to ask. Bug#420813: libedit-dev: please provide a pkgconfig file
Package: libedit-dev Version: 2.9.cvs.20050518-3 Severity: wishlist Tags: patch Hi, pkgconfig is a cool tool to manage build dependencies and to detect where are libraries and headers. I use it, and I use libedit in one of my project. I provide you a patch that adds in an ugly way a .pc file to libedit-dev. I made it on the source got with apt-get source. Bug#406221: kicker: Most of icons does not show in systray with dual-head radeon pseudo-xinerama
Package: kicker Version: 4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-5 Severity: normal I have set up a dual-head display using radeon open source driver and Xorg 7.1. The second screen is a LCD one. The two screens have different resolutions and I use the option to forgive scrolling in the little screen of my laptop. I have asked to kicker and kasbar to be on the second screen (the one of the laptop). In the systray, I used to hide some icons and to show in particular kopete and kontact. Since I use my dual-head config, their icons are not visible if no mails are not read or if kopete is connected. The icons are shown if a mail is not read or if kopete is not connected. Sorry for my english, Don't hesitate to ask for more informations if needed. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (900, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'stable') Architecture: powerpc (ppc) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.19.1 Locale: LANG=fr_FR, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR (charmap=ISO-8859-1) (ignored: LC_ALL set to fr_FR) Versions of packages kicker depends on: ii kdebase-data 4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-5 shared data files for the KDE base ii kdelibs4c2a4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-5 core libraries and binaries for al ii libacl12.2.42-1 Access control list shared library ii libart-2.0-2 2.3.17-1 Library of functions for 2D graphi ii libattr1 1:2.4.32-1.1 Extended attribute shared library ii libaudio2 1.8-2 The Network Audio System (NAS). Bug#406072: dia: Problem with magnetic grid
Package: dia Version: 0.95.0-4.1+b1 Severity: normal Hello When drawing with the option magnetic grid, I made two rectangle. The first one is correctly constrained to the grid. Bug#401184: libqt4-gui: Bounding box problem with QGraphicsLineItem and QGraphicsScene QGraphicsView
Package: libqt4-gui Version: 4.2.1-2 Severity: normal I have a problem with the bounding box of QGraphicsLineItem when the line is vertical. In my application I draw horizontal line that can be moved to represent tasks in a graph. Between those lines, I draw arrow using other lines. When I move the tasks, sometimes an arrow becomes a vertical line and if I continue to move the tasks in such a way that the line remains vertical but is translated horizontally, there is a problem. The problem is that a little part in the middle of the line remains at an older position while the remaining parts of the line are at the correct position. So there seems to be a problem with the bounding box. I have tested on a pc at my work that runs Fedora Core also in x86, so it may not be a PowerPC specific problem. I can join a screen capture illustrating the problem. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: powerpc (ppc) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-2-powerpc Locale: LANG=fr_FR, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR (charmap=ISO-8859-1) (ignored: LC_ALL set to fr_FR) Versions of packages libqt4-gui depends on: ii fontconfig 2.4.1-2 generic font configuration library ii libaudio21.8-2 The Network Audio System (NAS).
