Bug#169577: fixed 169577 on debian squeeze

2011-03-03 Thread Miro Radenovic
Hello, I have found and resolved the same bug in my debian squezze (Linux
2.6.32-5-amd64 #1 SMP Wed Jan 12 03:40:32 UTC 2011 x86_64 GNU/Linux
)

I received* connect failed: 127.0.0.1#953: connection refused* when i tried
to restart the bind9 deamon:

*root@Kaio:/etc/bind# invoke-rc.d bind9 restart*
*Stopping domain name service...: bind9rndc: connect failed: 127.0.0.1#953:
connection refused*
*.*
*Starting domain name service...: bind9.*

looking at the logs i found:
*cat  /var/log/daemon.log  *
*3 04:52:11 Kaio named[6619]: none:0: open: /etc/bind/rndc.key: permission
denied*
*Mar  3 04:52:11 Kaio named[6619]: couldn't add command channel
127.0.0.1#953: permission denied*
*Mar  3 04:52:11 Kaio named[6619]: none:0: open: /etc/bind/rndc.key:
permission denied*
*Mar  3 04:52:11 Kaio named[6619]: couldn't add command channel ::1#953:
permission denied*

the original permissions set on the rndc.key file were:

*root@Kaio:/etc/bind# ls -lah rndc.key *
*-rw-r- 1 root root 77 Feb 27 07:12 rndc.key*

The resolution of this bug can be accomplished by changing the file's owner:

*root@Kaio:/etc/bind# chown bind:bind rndc.key *
*
*
*root@Kaio:/etc/bind# ls -lah rndc.key *
*-rw-r- 1 bind bind 77 Feb 27 07:12 rndc.key*

and finally

*root@Kaio:/etc/bind# invoke-rc.d bind9 restart *
*Stopping domain name service...: bind9.*
*Starting domain name service...: bind9.*

NOTE:
The o *rndc.key * was not created/modified by me. it was creted
automatically when i installed bing9  apt-get.

*root@Kaio:/etc/bind# cat /etc/apt/sources.list*

Bug#606748: mono-debugger: 5703 Segmentation fault - when trying to use step in from monodevelop

2010-12-11 Thread Miro Radenovic
Package: mono-debugger
Version: 2.6.3-2.2
Severity: normal
Tags: ipv6

Hello,
I'm using monodevelop to debug simple mono application. The default debuggher
is mono soft debugger.

When i launch any application using Run Run with Mono soft debbugher and
try to step in (f11) into a function i get the followin error:

-
Stacktrace:

bash: line 1: 6453 Segmentation fault /usr/bin/mono --debug --debugger-
agent=transport=dt_socket,address=127.0.0.1:56470
/home/myo/Projects/SampleConsoleApplication/SampleConsoleApplication/bin/Debug/SampleConsoleApplication.exe

Press any key to continue...
---

I can replicate this error even with the hello word program.
1) In monodevelop create a new Console Application
2) put a breakpoint on the line Console.WriteLine (Hello World!);
3) launch the application with the mono soft debbugher (f5)
4) when you hit the breakpoint, press f11 to step in.

the debuggher crashes with the described error.
