Bug#889168: blender: symbol lookup error in libopencolorio.so
Yes, replacing debian-multimedia packages with testing versions works. I remove debian-multimedia from sources years ago and forgot about it. Maybe you should add this incompatible packages in conflict section? Package: firefox-esr Version: 45.0.2esr-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, Trying to save a file on a path containing special symbols give the following error: "The file could not be saved because you do not have the proper permissions. Choose another save directory." This is not a problem with the file chooser dialog, it chooses files and directories correctly. Example paths that don't work: /home/alex/texte/bancÄ/ /home/alex/hÄrÈi/ Example path that works: /home/alex/ /home/alex/texte Trying to open something like /home/alex/hÄrÈi/file.txt (which translates to file:///home/alex/h%C4%83r%C8%9Bi/file.txt) from the file chooser gives the following error: "File not found Firefox can't find the file at /home/alex/hÄrÈi/file.txt. Check the file name for capitalization or other typing errors. Check to see if the file was moved, renamed or deleted." This is not a very old problem, last year I remember saving files in those directories with Firefox. Bug#815051: gnome-keyring: Dialog steals keyboard focus but there's no indication of this
Package: gnome-keyring Version: 3.18.3-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, When starting nm-applet from KDE and input a WIFI password, a new window appears which asks for a password for the "default keyring" (I'll attach a picture), I assume this is the place where nm-applet wants to save the password I gave it. The said window steals keyboard focus but it doesn't stay as the only focused window. I'm able to give focus to other windows and interract with them via mouse. This leaves the desktop in a confusing situation of being unable to work with the keyboard, but not making it obvious which program stole the keyboard. *** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * What led up to the situation? * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? * What was the outcome of this action? * What outcome did you expect instead? *** End of the template - remove these template lines *** -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.3.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_MESSAGES to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directory ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages gnome-keyring depends on: ii dbus-x11 1.10.6-1 ii dconf-gsettings-backend [gsettings-backend] 0.24.0-2 ii gcr 3.18.0-1 ii libc62.21-9 ii libcap-ng0 0.7.7-1+b1 ii libcap2-bin 1:2.24-12 ii libgck-1-0 3.18.0-1 ii libgcr-base-3-1 3.18.0-1 ii libgcrypt20 1.6.5-2 ii libglib2.0-0 2.46.2-3 ii p11-kit 0.23.2-3 ii pinentry-gnome3 0.9.7-3 Versions of packages gnome-keyring recommends: ii libpam-gnome-keyring 3.18.3-1 gnome-keyring suggests no packages. -- debconf information: perl: warning: Setting locale failed. perl: warning: Please check that your locale settings: LANGUAGE = "en_GB", LC_ALL = (unset), LANG = "en_GB.UTF-8" are supported and installed on your system. perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C"). locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_MESSAGES to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directory
Bug#814748: amarok: Collection forgot all files from path with special symbols
Package: amarok Version: 2.8.0-4 Severity: important Tags: l10n Dear Maintainer, The Amarok collection forgot all the songs from paths that contain special symbols (non-Latin, ex. /home/alex/muzicÄ). Amarok is able to play all these songs, but they don't appear in the "media sources" and have no statistic anymore (they used to have until some tiem ago). Reproduce: 1. Create two copies of a file and modify the tags on one of the slightly (say Amarok.mp3/Title, Amarok-2.mp3/Title2) 2. Create directories ~/test and ~/testÄ. 3. Copy first file to ~/test and the second one to ~/testÄ 4. Add the directories to Amarok collection and rescan. 5. Notice that the song in ~/test is added to the collection, the song in ~/testÄ is not added to the collection. This may be related to some KDE transition, because other KDE programs had temporary problems with paths containing non-Latin symbols (Krusader and Okular had this for a couple of weeks in December). *** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * What led up to the situation? * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? * What was the outcome of this action? * What outcome did you expect instead? *** End of the template - remove these template lines *** -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.3.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_MESSAGES to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directory ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages amarok depends on: ii amarok-common 2.8.0-4 ii amarok-utils 2.8.0-4 ii kde-runtime 4:15.12.1-1 ii libaio1 0.3.110-2 ii libavcodec-ffmpeg56 7:2.8.6-1+b1 ii libavformat-ffmpeg56 7:2.8.6-1+b1 ii libavutil-ffmpeg547:2.8.6-1+b1 ii libc6 2.21-7 ii libcurl3-gnutls 7.47.0-1 ii libgcc1 1:5.3.1-8 ii libgcrypt20 1.6.5-2 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-02.32.3-1.2 ii libgl1-mesa-glx [libgl1] 11.1.2-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.46.2-3 ii libgpod4 0.8.3-5+b1 ii libimobiledevice6 1.2.0+dfsg-2.1 ii libkcmutils4 4:4.14.16-1 ii libkdecore5 4:4.14.16-1 ii libkdeui5 4:4.14.16-1 ii libkdewebkit5 4:4.14.16-1 ii libkdnssd44:4.14.16-1 ii libkfile4 4:4.14.16-1 ii libkio5 4:4.14.16-1 ii libknewstuff3-4 4:4.14.16-1 ii liblastfm11.0.9-1 ii libloudmouth1-0 1.5.2-1 ii libmtp9 1.1.10-2 ii libmysqlclient18 5.6.28-1 ii libnepomukcore4 4:4.14.0-1+b4 ii libofa0 0.9.3-10 ii libphonon44:4.8.3-2 ii libplasma34:4.14.16-1 ii libqjson0 0.8.1-3 ii libqt4-dbus 4:4.8.7+dfsg-6 ii libqt4-network4:4.8.7+dfsg-6 ii libqt4-opengl 4:4.8.7+dfsg-6 ii libqt4-script 4:4.8.7+dfsg-6 ii libqt4-sql4:4.8.7+dfsg-6 ii libqt4-svg4:4.8.7+dfsg-6 ii libqt4-xml4:4.8.7+dfsg-6 ii libqtcore44:4.8.7+dfsg-6 ii libqtgui4 4:4.8.7+dfsg-6 ii libqtscript4-core 0.2.0-1 ii libqtscript4-gui 0.2.0-1 ii libqtscript4-network 0.2.0-1 ii libqtscript4-sql 0.2.0-1 ii libqtscript4-uitools 0.2.0-1 ii libqtscript4-xml 0.2.0-1 ii libqtwebkit4 2.3.4.dfsg-6 ii libsolid4 4:4.14.16-1 ii libsoprano4 2.9.4+dfsg-3+b1 ii libstdc++65.3.1-8 ii libthreadweaver4 4:4.14.16-1 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.3-1 ii libxml2 2.9.3+dfsg1-1 ii phonon4:4.8.3-2 ii zlib1g1:1.2.8.dfsg-2+b1 Versions of packages amarok recommends: ii clamz0.5-2+b1 ii kio-audiocd 4:14.12.2-1 Versions of packages amarok suggests: pn amarok-doc ii libqt4-sql-mysql 4:4.8.7+dfsg-6 pn libqt4-sql-psql ii libqt4-sql-sqlite 4:4.8.7+dfsg-6 pn moodbar Versions of packages amarok-common depends on: ii perl 5.22.1-7 amarok-common recommends no packages. Bug#811272: okular: Fails to open files in path with special symbols
Package: okular Version: 4:15.08.3-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, Okular is not able to open file from a path such as /home/alex/texte/bancÄ. The error it outputs: "Could not open /home/alex/texte/bancÃÂ/2012-07-15--2012-10-13.pdf". Some time ago it was able to read files from that directory. This has happened with Krusader too for a couple of days, but the last update fixed it (maybe a mismatch between KDE runtime versions). I know of no other program unable to open files from that directory (from KDE or otherwise). I'll include a screen shot with the error, please request any other information.
