Bug#546227: TEST_AUTHOR ??

2009-09-12 Thread Paul Miller
Why are you guys running this test? Are you the package author? Unset TEST_AUTHOR and you're all set. I will fix this in two ways. 1) I'll make it so the test won't run unless you're the test author, and then 2) I'll fix the problem -- the problem being perl critic (they are suggestions).

Bug#457642: libpam-shield: shield-purge does not purge database

2007-12-24 Thread Paul Miller
Oh, okay. I was under the impression that shield-purge could be used to purge the database regardless of the quarantine time. Perhaps a --force option would be helpful. I suppose the man page indicates that I shouldn't execute it manually. :) Does shield-purge compute the time difference

2007-01-28 Thread Paul Miller
Package: openssl Version: 0.9.8c-4 Severity: wishlist Please update to version 0.9.8d. My workplace does not allow me to run version 0.9.8c due to the Sept 4 security advisory. I understand that Debian already fixed this problem in 0.9.8c-3, but the version string causes concerns in the

2005-05-16 Thread Paul Miller
Package: ipmasq Version: 4.0.2 Severity: normal When using multiple subnets on the same interface, enumerate-if does not correctly list sub interfaces, ethX:Y. This causes problems with determining the internal/external interfaces... For some reason, ifconfig doesn't even list these sub

Bug#306964: apcupsd: mininum power failure time for logging

2005-04-29 Thread Paul Miller
Package: apcupsd Version: 3.10.17-2 Severity: wishlist I'm getting a lot of power failure notifications in my logs for momentary power sags. It would be nice to control a mininum power failure time to warrant a log message. Something like 5-15 seconds would be plenty. -- System Information:

Package: apcupsd-cgi Version: 3.10.16-7 Severity: normal The cgi scripts are installed in /usr/lib/cgi-bin/apcupsd and, by default, Apache uses /usb/lib/cgi-bin as its cgi-bin directory. The links for system and data refer to the cgi scripts in / instead of /cgi-bin/apcupsd/. I think

Package: vnc4server Version: 4.0-7 Severity: wishlist I would find it very useful to be able to run multiple permanent vnc servers (one per user) from inetd using the vnc4server script. The problem is that the vnc4server does not handle errors, such as a missing ~/.vnc/passwd file, in a inetd
