Bug#905376: gnome-documents: When moving to the next search result, show it but center around it

2018-08-03 Thread Pr0metheus
Package: gnome-documents
Version: 3.28.0-1
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

Suppose we have a document with many pages and each page has 40 lines of text.
Suppose also that the string we are looking for is on line 15 of the 3rd page
and we are currently looking at the first page.

Do a search for the string and when found it is highlighted but the last line
shown on screen is line 15.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

I would suggest to center the result, that is, show some lines before and some
after. This would be very helpful as when you are looking for something you
need to see what's before and what's after.

Bug#905142: polari: Stored password for user identification does not work with OFTC network

2018-07-31 Thread Pr0metheus
Package: polari
Version: 3.28.0-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

How the problem appears:

Login with a registered nickname in OFTC, identify, save password. Close Polari
or disconnect and connect again to OFTC and nickserv sends:

This nickname is registered and protected. If it is your nickname, you may
authenticate yourself to services with the IDENTIFY command. You are
getting this message because you are not on the access list for the
#MYNICKNAME# nickname.
Nickname #MYPASSWORD# is not registered. The nickname you specify must be a
registered nickname. See HELP REGISTER for more information.

IDENTIFY command should send only the password for OFTC.

Bug#898352: umbrello: Class name and labels are trimmed

2018-05-10 Thread Pr0metheus
Package: umbrello
Version: 4:17.08.3-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

After the last update, I opened my xmi file and saw that all labels for classes
and attributes are trimmed if they have long names.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
 ineffective)?

I tried to create a new class with attributes but the behavior was the same.

Even if I export the class diagram as an image the text is still trimmed.

Bug#858007: nautilus: Not possible to show the general context menu when the file list occupies all space of the window

2017-03-17 Thread Pr0metheus
Package: nautilus
Version: 3.22.3-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

Consider a folder that has many files that even when maximizing the window
there are still more to see (needs scrolling), e.g., 190 files. Try to find a
place to right and show the general context menu (The menu that contains New
Folder, New Document, Open in Terminal, etc). This is not possible.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
 ineffective)?

I looked over the window to find a place to make this context menu appear but
it was not posibble.

   * What was the outcome of this action?

I wasn't able to use the general context menu

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

I expected to see the general context menu, but as a solution I suggest to
include these entries in the file specific context.

Bug#853044: gnome-themes-standard-data: Adwaita Dark is missing gtk.css for gkt3

2017-01-29 Thread Pr0metheus
Package: gnome-themes-standard-data
Version: 3.22.2-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

I changed my theme to Adwaita Dark

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
 ineffective)?

I noticed that sometimes strange things happen to the programs especially when
switching, like activity bar going black but I cannot suggest how to reproduce
this. As the Adwaita (not Dark) works with no problems, I believe the change to
Adwaita dark caused these. This happened at least 3 times with Evolution (mail
client) after hitting Super or changing with other windows

   * What was the outcome of this action?

Activity bar randomly goes black.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

Normal.

Other notes:

I did a search in the folders of /usr/share/themes/Adwaita-dark and compared
with Adawaita, I noticed that the gtk3 files are missing. I then went to github
and saw that there are gtk3 files for Adwaita dark (gtk.css).

2016-11-09 Thread Pr0metheus
Package: gnome-terminal

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

I have folders with greek characters. I can change directory to any of
them without problem.
Inside one of these folders i create a directory with english
characters using gnome nautilus, e.g. LLC (3350)
I open a terminal and try to change directory to the new folder, after
i type the command: cd LLC (3350) and hit enter terminal closes without notice.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
 ineffective)?

I renamed the directory and removed the parenthesis and change

Crash

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

Enter the directory containing the parenthesis in its name and continue

Bug#840185: mono-complete: Error "Project does not support framework" comes up after creating a new console project

2016-10-09 Thread Pr0metheus
Package: mono-complete
Version: 4.6.1.3+dfsg-4
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

After creating a new console project the program shows a red circle with a
white cross next to the project name, displays an error message and does not
allow to build the solution.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
 ineffective)?

Open MonoDevelop, create a new solution and pick Console Project (VB.NET)
Type a name and specify the location and hit Create
Receive the error message saying:

Error while trying to load the project '/blah/blah/Test.vbproj": Project does
not support framework '.NETFramework,Version=v4.5'.

Next to the project name there is a red circle with a white cross and it is not
possible to view the project files.

It is logical cause i have 4.6 and 4.6.1 but if i change it with a text editor
in the vbproj file, this will not work.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

A new, ready to build project.

2016-04-22 Thread Pr0metheus
Package: epiphany-browser
Version: 3.20.1-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?

After upgrading to Gnome 3.20 (from 3.18) selected text and controls
(like check boxes and radio buttons) are not visible on web pages.

* Suggested solution from #gnome (IRC)

Compile epiphany-browser against GTK v3.20 and NOT against 3.18 as it
is now.
