Bug#544864: I reported it upstream
I also ran into this problem when I updated to Squeeze (xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.8.1). On Lenny it worked fine. As suggested by Julien, I ran intel_gpu_dump and report the results to fdo's bugzilla: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=24103 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#477664: Seeing the same problem
I have the same problem. I launch xtightvncviewer 1.3.9-4 with the -listen option, but when I try to connect using UltraVNC 4.10.0.1, the console shows the message Connected to RFB server, using protocol version 3.8, and no window appears. There isn't any VPN or firewall involved. I built v1.3.10 from source, and keep seeing the same problem. I ended up installing v1.2.9-21 from stable, which works fine. Has this bug been reported upstream? Thanks. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
Bug#471650: libdjvulibre21/libdjvulibre15: a workaround
The workaround doesn't work for me as 15 is required by evince and imagemagick, which kde would much prefer remained. What I did was: # dpkg --purge --force-depends libdjvulibre15 # aptitude install libdjvulibre21 Hope that helps, Quique -- Everything should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#415409: Subject: kregexpeditor: Wrong documentation directory name
Package: kregexpeditor Version: 4:3.5.5-3 Severity: normal When creating a search index in KHelpCenter, I got an error message regarding KRegExpEditor. It turned out that this error was caused because the documentarion directory in /usr/share/doc/kde/HTML/*/ is called `KRegExpEditor'. This name should not be in mixed case, but in lowercase, as every other app: `kregexpeditor'. In order to fix this, the directory kdeutils/doc/KRegExpEditor in the source code should be renamed to kdeutils/doc/kregexpeditor. Bug#386715: libgpod: Please build without gdk-pixbuf/gtk
Package: libgpod Severity: normal Hello, could you please build libgpod without depending on libgtk2.0 ? KDE's Amarok uses libgpod0, and I find annoying being forced to install GTK and all of its dependencies (Pango, Cairo, ATK, etc) just to include Amarok in a live-CD, where space is precious. The libgpod developers told me that they were careful to avoid such a dependency. There is only an *optional* dependency on gdk-pixbuf (libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.so.0 is in the libgtk2.0-0 package).
