Meaning: if I plug my phone and then I run kmobiletools then I can browse SMSs and phonebook. However, if I first start it and then plug the phone (as I did last time) I get a crash. Bug#358442: thunderbird: Unable to save attached mail attachments
Alexander Sack - Debian Bugmail wrote: I can save attachments which are files, but if someone sends me an email as attachment, and this attached-mail has some attachments too, I can't save them (I am asked to check file name and try again). Hmmm ... I cannot reproduce this behaviour ... could you please try to forward yourself a mail as attachment and try to reproduce? Maybe there is something special about the mail that causes these troubles? If you can, compare the message source (Ctrl-U) of a message that is working with a message that does not? Maybe you can identify something weird (different) in the mail you cannot save? If I store a mail of that "bad" kind as mail.eml and open it with a different (new) profile, I still can't Open the attached file, but I can Save As, which makes me quite happy :) Also, the attached message is displayed as inline. Therefore, I believe my own profile is obsolete in some part of its configuration, probably because it was created with an older Thunderbird. Do you know, by any chance, what configuration file could possibly hold settings related to attachments? My plan would be overwriting that file, without creating a new profile, in order not to add all my accounts again. Package: xfce4-verve-plugin Version: 0.3.0-1 Severity: normal Dearest Xfce maintainers, as reported on [1], it is possible to bind a key to verve-focus to allow (guess?) verve plugin to have focus. Bug#358451: thunderbird: TB 1.5: line 131: 25352 Segmentation fault
Package: thunderbird Version: 1.5-4 Severity: important Hi again, I am using sid thunderbird 1.5-4 on amd64. I don't know if it happens to you too, but it crashes pretty often, without apparent reason. I was replying a mail before writing this, and it crashed 3 times, always when I hit the 'Canc' key, with some text selected. It's not really reproducible: I'd say the it crashed always after hitting 'Canc' on selected text, but hitting 'Canc' on selected text doesn't always make it crash. So it's somehow randomic. After the second time I started it from a shell, and the output of the 3rd crash was: $ thunderbird DOUBLE-CLICK: 300 --> -1 THRESHOLD: 8 --> -1 /usr/lib/thunderbird/run-mozilla.sh: line 131: 25352 Segmentation fault "$prog" ${1+"$@"} By 'Canc' key I mean the one referred as "Delete" in the following image: http://www.hartnell.cc.ca.us/mlt/web_courses/helpguide/images/keyboard_helpguide.gif My extensions are divided in two groups: * in use: - Remove Duplicate Messages 0.1.02 - Display Mail User Agent Extension 1.2 - ConfigDate 0.3.5 - header scroll extension 0.3 - Quote Colors 0.2.7 - Quick Locale Switcher 1.3.1 - CuteMenus - Crystal SVG 0.9.9.2 - Headers Toggle 0.5.2 - Typeaheadfind 1.5 * disabled: - Forumzilla 0.5.4 - infoRSS 1.0.1 - Display mail route 0.1 - nntpthreads 0.0.3 - Leet Key 0.4.1 Thanks, Roberto -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to [EMAIL PROTECTED]) Versions of packages thunderbird depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 1.11.3-1 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.3.6-4GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libcairo2 1.0.2-3The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libfontconfig12.3.2-5generic font configuration library ii libgcc1 1:4.0.3-1 GCC support library ii libglib2.0-0 2.10.1-2 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.8.13-1 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libjpeg62 6b-12 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libpango1.0-0 1.12.0-2 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libpng12-01.2.8rel-5 PNG library - runtime ii libstdc++64.0.3-1The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 6.9.0.dfsg.1-4 X Window System protocol client li ii libxcursor1 1.1.3-1X cursor management library ii libxext6 6.9.0.dfsg.1-4 X Window System miscellaneous exte ii libxft2 2.1.8.2-3 FreeType-based font drawing librar ii libxi66.9.0.dfsg.1-4 X Window System Input extension li ii libxinerama1 6.9.0.dfsg.1-4 X Window System multi-head display ii libxp66.9.0.dfsg.1-4 X Window System printing extension ii libxrandr26.9.0.dfsg.1-4 X Window System Resize, Rotate and ii libxrender1 1:0.9.0.2-1X Rendering Extension client libra ii libxt66.9.0.dfsg.1-4 X Toolkit Intrinsics ii zlib1g1:1.2.3-11 compression library - runtime Versions of packages thunderbird recommends: ii myspell-it [myspell-dictionar 1:2.0.2-3 Italian dictionary for myspell pn xprint (no description available) -- debconf information: * thunderbird/browser: Debian -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#358442: thunderbird: Unable to save attached mail attachments
Package: thunderbird Version: 1.5-4 Severity: important Hi, I can save attachments which are files, but if someone sends me an email as attachment, and this attached-mail has some attachments too, I can't save them (I am asked to check file name and try again). It's really annoying... I had this behaviour also with the thunderbird version before the current, but I hoped to see it fixed with 1.5. Since it seems it's not, I decided to file this bug. But it's not all :) In the version before the current, the attached-mail contained itself as attachment (along with normal attachment), so that it was possible to experience something like recursion... In this version instead, if I open a context menu on any attached file, and choose Open, then no action is performed. I'd not exclude some of my configuration file to have got corrupted and cause this all... Bug#355775: FTBFS: dereferencing pointer to incomplete type
Package: multipath-tools Version: 0.4.6-1+b1 Severity: serious Justification: fails to build from source Hi, multipath-tools fails to build on all arch. Error is: [...] edd.c: In function 'get_edd_info': edd.c:59: warning: implicit declaration of function 'sysfs_open_directory' edd.c:59: warning: assignment makes pointer from integer without a cast edd.c:62: warning: implicit declaration of function 'sysfs_read_all_subdirs' edd.c:63: error: dereferencing pointer to incomplete type [...] It's very probable that it's not totally multipath-tools fault: in fact I believe it's something related to sysfs (please check #355335). However, there's a considerable amount of wrong casts, which should be fixed. Bug#254089: (no subject)
found 254089 0.69-3 thanks Hello, compilation still fails on amd64. Probably the configure script wasn't regenerated, as Kurt noticed, since re-running autoconf 2.13 or 2.59 makes it build correctly. Here it is. I still haven't been able to look at it, and I think I won't be for a few days. If I find out something I'll let you know. Please remember that it builds on my box as well on Kurt Roeckx's, so it's probably just some odd buildd chroot thing. All the best, Roberto testsuite.log.bz2 Description: application/bzip
