I want to confirm that this bug is still present and there are additional
strings that dpkg -S emits which cause the links_in_packages routine to
fail. I have a mature machine and finally got around to updating dpkg on it to
one of
still swap the VECTORS and TUPLES
header records, but is agnostic when importing, looking at the actual
data representation. Openoffice outputs standard conforming DIF
files, I have not see any bug reports about incompatibility with the
MS mangled DIF coming from their camp.
