Okay, it looks there is a reason for the (seemingly) weird symlink
behavior, and that reason might be more important than fixing a problem
for people who
: GtkDialog mapped without a transient parent. This is discouraged.
Generating symlinks /home/usr/bin/icons and /home/usr/bin/ui to the
corresponding
shotwell directories is a workaround for the problem.

Dear Maintainer,
I installed Debian 8.0 today from a netinst image, on my notebook with
Intel Wireless hardware. Hence, to be able to install Debian over WiFi,
the installer told me that I need the firmware files
iwlwifi-2000-6.ucode
installed clang-3.7 and started a script [1] that
installs all alternatives.
This also makes it easier to use features like the address sanitizer
that uses llvm-symbolizer (see the comment in [1]).
